I have used this service for several months now and am very pleased. Terrie comes once a month to clean my small apartment. She is always on time, friendly and does a good job.The price is right for me and if you want a more thorough cleaning it costs more because it takes longer. This seems fair to me. I have used April Lane's Home Cleaning for over 8 years and am completely satisfied with their work. Using their services allows me the time to do the many other things that no one else can do for me. I love feeling that my house cleaning is under control and it is terrific to walk in the door after their service and know that everything on my list is done well. I also use extra hours to help me if we have out of town guests or a big event and they are always able to accomodate me. We decided to go with a cleaning company, rather than an individual because of some ""issues"" we've had with the slack factor after a few cleans with one offs. April Lane hires great gals and we suspect they are trained to a specific standard. Saturday appointments are a bonus, but they do come at a slightly higher cost. Another plus is the use of more natural cleaners and they will ask if bleach is ok in places such as old tiled bathrooms, if needed. Online booking is super easy and Samara gets back with any questions very quickly. more

April Lane's of Bellevue is on par with the top cleaning services I have used in Bellevue or elsewhere. Couches are clean, tiles look amazing, really great results, and an even better value. Fantastic house cleaning service. April Lane's always delivers. I have been using them occasionally for many years. What I love about them is they call and refine their service make sure that your home is cleaned the way you want it to be. I have never had any major issues with how they clean and nothing has ever been taken from my house. Luckily I have never had a maid steal anything from me but I know a few people who have. I hired April Lane's based on the reviews they have on Yelp and other review sites. Great reviews much equal a great company, right? Not in this case. The appt was easy to schedule online and the staff was quick to respond, but the actual service was poor and the cleaners they sent over were very shady. Two guys both in torn jeans and t-shirts, one with a nose ring, arrived at my home about 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. They both smelled of smoke and honestly looked like they came straight from a bar. Only one of them even had cleaning supplies, which were disorganized. I hesitated to even let them inside, but I did. My home was quoted for a deep clean - it's maintained but I just wanted something a little extra, some extra detailing and attention to the areas that I don't always have time to make perfect. My home is small, just under 1500sqft and is 2 bathrooms. I was quoted by April Lane's that the service would take between 3-4.5hrs total. After the ""cleaners"" arrived, I went upstairs to my office to work and get out of their way. About 30 minutes later, I came back down to get a drink of water and to just check in on what was going on down there. They were gone. As far as I could tell, some dishes in my sink were cleaned the bathtowels in my downstairs bathroom were folded up BUT NOTHING WAS CLEANED AND THE CHECK I LEFT WAS TAKEN with no sign of the cleaners. I called the office as you would expect! But there was no answer. I left a message. I waited and called again. I was somewhat in shock about what just happened and I literally felt robbed! The next day around 11am an April Lane employee called and explained that their cleaners were there for 2hrs each! This just wasn't true! After all was said and done, and after I wasted as much time as it would have taken me to clean my own house, they issued me a 50% refund! I was $100 broker and my house still needed cleaned. Honestly, I have never experienced worse service in my entire life! AVOID!!!!! more

April Lane's is a wonderful service. I love coming home from work on Friday evening to a clean home and not having to look at things I should be doing all weekend. The only drawback is I can't afford to have them come more often! Pros: Coming back to a clean home Cons: Wish I could have them more often! more
