What happened to everyone?! 4/22/2008

I was a client at Appearances for a few years and after calling to make an appointment the other day, i found out 2 of the stylists i had gone to were no longer there and of course no one could tell me where they went, so i saw somebody new. When i got to the salon almost every familiar face that i had known was gone! One of the girls told me that 5 stylists had left since the beginning of the year! What is going on there? It's just not the same salon that it used to be, and not seeing the blonde girl at the front, i think Alexis, was a big disappoinment. If that many people left the salon there must have been a good reason. I won't be back. Pros: There are none. Everyone i went to is gone! Cons: Atmosphere isn't very welcoming anymore, and the salon wasn't very busy. more

I have been a client of Appearances for more than three years now and I feel like I just have to write in and let people know about this fantastic place! It's great. I love my hair! I always walk out of there with a smile on my face. I highly recommend it! more

Awesome Service! 11/17/2007

I had been bouncing around salons for a while because I just hadn't found ""the"" place until I came into this salon! I've been coming for four years now and I don't have any intention of leaving (they'll have to kick me out!) I see the owner, Jim. He is funny, witty, good looking, Not gay, and the best hair stylist and colorist I have EVER been to! He has done wonders with my hair! Ohhh... they also carry the whole line of Kerastase!!!!! I LOVE KERASTASE! Kerastase rocks. Jim rocks. This salon definately rocks! Pros: Ambience, parking, service, wine, KERASTASE! Cons: He books up fast, so I have to make appointments in advance! But soooo worth it. more

First and ONLY salon since moving to Broomfield 3/25/2007

When I moved to Denver , I was referred to Appearances by an associate who had been a client for years herself. The most telling comment I can make is that it's the only place I've ever had my hair cut since moving here. Furthermore, I would highly recommend the many of the services and all of the styilists. They are highly professional, asks all the right questions, and repeatedly deliver the best haircuts &color time after time. I can honestly say that I have seen almost everyone and they're all FANTASTIC! Pros: Lots of restruants close by. But especially COFFEE Cons: parking can difficult more

Great hair professionals, avoid manicure/pedicure 12/28/2006

Really nice people answering the phone, excelent hair professionals and an amazing collection of Bumble and Bumble and Kerastase products. But I tried to pamper myself with some manicure/pedicure for the holidays and.... what a deception! $60 box for a service that was sincerely the worst that I had in years! No cuticules removed, french manicure without any finishing and toe nails not even smoothed ... but lesson learned, really great salon for hair, that's for sure! I don't have a whole lot to say other than I absolutely love that Salon! I had been coloring my own hair for years and decided to treat myself for my birthday and Appearances really made me feel like queen for the day. Cherry Creek right here in Westminster! 4/27/2006

I was traveling to Cherry Creek for years to get my hair done before I found this place! I am so happy to have found someone so close that does such an astounding job on my hair. I'm one of those clients who is really picky about my hair, but I have found the right stylist who does my hair perfectly. I won't mention her name, because I want her all to myself! I've finally found the right place! 11/10/2005

After having lived here for over five years and searching for a good hair salon, I have finally found the one I will stay at as long as they'll have me! I moved here from California and was used to a certain kind of treatment as well as great hair service, but after moving here I have gone from salon to salon - not to mention some pretty pricey ones, but they all fell short on either their service or their skill. When I came into Appearances, I was welcomed right away; they asked me if I wanted anything to drink; and the guy who did my hair was right on time! Turns out I really lucked out because I got the owner of the salon and he is funny (not to mention pretty cute), AND he obviously knows what he's doing! He made me look and feel like gorgeous. Wow! 11/9/2005

I have to say that when I first came to this salon I was a little nervous because the only available stylist to do my haircolor was what they called an apprentice and because I needed my hair done for a special event, I went ahead and had the apprentice do my hair. Well, I was amazed at how great my hair looked when I left! She didn't seem like she was an ""apprentice"" at all - it was actually the best color and cut I have ever received from a hair salon and because she was an apprentice, the cost was really reasonable. I will definately be back and have already told many of my friends and family about Kendra. Pros: very creative, skilled, nice more
