First Service experience at Stephens Hyundai 11/4/2015

Approximately 6 weeks after purchasing my 2015 Elantra GT in Oklahoma, I scheduled an oil change and wheel alignment at my hometown Hyundai dealership, Stephens Hyundai. The customer service representative on the phone was very courteous and helpful in scheduling the appointment. When I arrived for a Saturday service, I was greeted by a customer service rep and he confirmed what work I needed, asked about the reason for requesting the wheel alignment and got the car right in for the oil change. Within a few minutes he came back and asked a few more questions regarding the symptoms associated with the wheel alignment request, advised me it might take a few minutes longer because they were also going check the actual tires, by moving them to see if the steering drift followed the tire placement. A bit later he returned to advise me that they determined that the left front tire had a "radial pull" and that when they moved it to the right side the left drift stopped and the car drove straight ahead. The wheel alignment check was perfect and this information confirmed there was an issue with the tire, and it should be replaced. As the car is brand new I ask about my options regarding a warranty on the tire and the availability of the tire being in stock. They did not have the tire in stock but could order it and that he would speak to his manager on Monday about any warranty possibilities. I advised him that I was returning to Oklahoma for business in a few days and that I would take up the tire issue with the dealership where I purchased the car. The service was friendly, knowledgable and I was in and out within an hour. I was only charged for the oil change and they returned my car to me with car wash. My first experience with Stephens Hyundai was a great one and I look forward to them doing all of my routine and required maintenance. more

Everyone at both dealerships is friendly & they go out their way to help out. Service is excellent and done right at a reasonable price. They've saved me money more than once when I thought I needed something more expensive but really needed something less expensive done. I have had good experiences with Hyundai over the years. There have been issues with my vehicle in the past but that is to be expected. Cars are not perfect but what will continue to keep me coming back and remain a loyal customer is what service does to help when I do have an issue. I appreciate the fact that Hyundai offers a shuttle service. This is very important benefit that some other dealers do not offer their customers. Some only offer that service in the morning but you have to find your own way back to their shop when you get off work. With Hyundai you get a ride to and from work. I find the staff friendly and willing to explain the repairs that your car needs before the work begins. Currently my vehicle is making a couple of noises that I have had checked out. The problem is the sounds produced are sporadic in nature and the service techs haven't been able to get the noises to duplicate when it is in the shop. But I am confident that we will eventually get to the source of the noises and the problems will be addressed. I brought my vehicle in recently to have a new battery put in. I didn't know if they would have time to do this for me since I brought it in at the end of the day. To my surprise they got me right in and installed the battery for me. Because of my experiences with Bloomington Hyundai over the years this buyer will be returning to Hyundai for her next purchase! more
