Mr. Cash is a joke of a Dr.! First of all this guy is arrogant as all hell, he spends less than 2min w/ you and talks at you not to you. He sent me to physical therapy, I attended half of what was assigned, not only was the PT expensive but it was making my back worse (to the point I could hardly walk) So I made the executive decision to stop going, I know my body. When I walked into his office I was ordered to take a drug test, I have never once asked him for meds, so I saw this as unnecessary. Once in the exam room a lady, ( in a dress that was way too short for an office and her body type) approached me. Her name is Mia Alfonso she is a Medical/Legal Administrator, my first tip something was wrong. She asked if I was willing to participate in a survey, she informed me that Mr. Cash (just because you have a doctoral degree doesn't mean you deserve to be called Dr.) has had bad reviews online and that I should post a positive review of him. She also stated that all the bad reviews are from ""competitors"" trying to make him look bad. In my opinion he makes himself look bad. When the ""Dr."" arrived he pretty much told me that our next option would be shots in my spine, however he said ""if you can't afford PT then you can't afford this treatment."" I asked him if my insurance would cover it and yes I know he doesn't know everything about my insurance but at least have my file available, or offer to have his office check. He was very rude and standoffish telling me it's not his job to know. He then got up and walked out of the room, I guess we were done. He pointed down the hall ""check out is down there."" Hummm... my $20 co- pay for his precious 30 seconds???? more

THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO HIS OFFICE, IT WAS SO UNORGANIZED. THEY STATED IN MY REPORT THAT I WAS INJURED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT THEN IT WAS STATED AS CAR ACCIDENT. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS NEITHER. I WAS INJURED AT WORK. FIRST IMPRESSIONS SHOULD HAVE MADE ME CHANGE MY MIND ON HOW GOOD OF A DR. HE IS. HE FIRST TOLD ME I HAD NOTHING WRONG THEN HE TURNED AROUND AND DID A FUSION ON MY BACK. WHEN I WALKED IN THE OFFICE STAFF SEEMED FRIENDLY TO ME, GOT MY PAPER WORK COMPLETED. THEY CALLED MY NAME IF IAM ON OXYCODENE WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY DOING A DRUG TEST GET REAL. WHEN THE DOCTOR WALKED IN HE WAS ARROGENT HE DDINT EVEN HAVE MY FILE, I TOOK A LOOK AT HIM I KNEW IWAS NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS GUY WHEN HE OPENED HS MOUTH HE WAS A SMUG DOCTOR. I HAD TO LEAVE I DID NOT LIKE THIS GUYS ATTITUDE I HOPE HE HAS EXTREME PAIN LIKE I DO IT WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME TO SEE THIS FOOL. ALL THE GREAT REVIEWS WHAT FAMILY MEMBERS ARE THESE. thang you muchas gracias dr cash,in dicember 2005 and january 2008 i have twoo big motor vehicles accidents results off too many broken bones,ihave neck fracture and lower back he fixed my neck with a cervical fussion in feb 2009 i now i felt great ,after cervical fussion.later the year in novevenber 2009 i have the second surgerie on my lower back i have L5 ,L4 and twoo disk damage he remplace the disk and ad wardware for a fussion, since time my healt improve i fell great. before the surgeries i was walkin with a cane now no more cane.thang you again and again dr cash if same day you need references a be happy to show to your patiens with the miracle your hands and your nkolege provide for mi more

Dr. Andrew Cash saved my life. As a result of a Seaplane crash in 1999, several car wrecks, accidents, etc, by neck had grown bone spurs and osteophytes at c4-C5-C6-C7. He removed 3 disc and carved out the bones that were punching into my spinal cord. My left hand and arm were weak and would quit working with no warning. This caused a broken right leg in August 2009 when my left hand turn loose unexpectedly when I was climbing down from a pontoon boat sitting on a trailer on a cement ramp. So his business staff runs his business. This means Dr. Cash will be there in the future when me or a family member need his skills. As a CPA I can verify that a lot of doctors go broke because they do not have the right business people managing their business. I woke up in the ICU pain free. I had forgotten what feeling good was. The pain had become a way of life. I have not used a pain killer for neck problems since surgery 1-15-2010. I came from South Carolina for surgery. Joseph G. I had a so-so experience with the doctor. No real time spent with me, and I was referred to another medical facility by him. But I later had real difficulty in getting a billing problem solved when I tried to deal with the billing lady. It was agreed that I could pay off the balance over time, yet within four months of the first billing, when I had paid over half the amount due, I was arbitrarily sent to collection. I felt this was unjustified and punitive because I questioned their billing practices. I also want to mention that I am not a deadbeat, I always pay all my bills, and I have an excellent credit rating, so it is my belief that the problem stems with the doctor's office. Beware of Dr Cash's family who have posted glowing reviews, and listen up from a patient/consumer's point of view: Steer clear of Dr Cash and the Desert Institute of Spine Care -- unless you wnt to suffer post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of their onerous insurance/billing schemes on top of your back pain. more

My pain was chronic; I had suffered for over 2 years surviving by have multiple steroid injections and burnings in my neck. I had had enough. Dr. Brian Lemper referred me to Dr. Andrew Cash. During my first appointment with Dr. Cash, he performed an examination and asked me many questions about my pain and history of treatments, etc. His years of advanced education and training pinpointed my problem discs, he ordered a treatment plan and within a few weeks of my initial visit I was having my neck surgically repaired. more

I am so lucky that I found Dr. Cash, he took the time to explain all of my options and never pressured me into making a choice. Once it was decided(by me) that I would have surgery he listed all of the pros and cons out and explained exactly what to expect. I am now 5 weeks post surgery and can absolutely say that it was the best thing I could have done for myself and Dr. Cash was the best Dr. I could have had. I feel better than I thought possible already and it just keeps getting better. \r His office staff is amazing and I LOVE his nurses. They are all so nice and willing and able to answer any and all questions. They took a very scary situation for me and made it easier than I ever thought it could be. Dr. Cash & his staff are the best. Dr. Cash took time to listen and talk to me. I never felt rushed. He was not in a hurry to push surgery giving every option available. Dr. Cash is a knowledgeable, highly skilled, caring, and friendly. His staff is equally friendly, helpful and compassionate. Having back pain and finally electing to have surgey was my best option and thankfully I had Dr. Cash. My surgery was an immediate success.
