These guys are great! For a small shop, they keep it neat and tidy with a good selection. If they don't have it, they can get it for you fast and at a reasonable price.\r \r I understand they are starting up a new mobile bike repair service where they come right to you house and do a tune-up or whatever. No more having to take the bike to the shop. It?s another example of their great service. more

The staff attentively listened to the kind of bike and features I was looking for based on age (68), use (ocean beach) and limitations (arthritis). They helped me test ride several models. They never tried to steer me toward the more expensive ones and never hurried me. Always gave me the pro's and con's of each model. After settling in on the best bike for me, my wife liked it so much that I returned and bought her the lady's model. We are very pleased with the bikes and the great service. The price for the two bikes was unbeatable. more

I just wanted to say that the guys at anchor bay bike were very intelligent. They answered all my questions to help me in picking out the proper bike for my son this christmas 09. He loves it . I deffinetally plan on making a another purchase here . The price was very fair, and quality very high. They went above and beyond what I would have expected . more

I recently moved this area. Before,I went to Paint Creek Bike shop in Lake Orion ( recommended ). I like Hamilton in Richmond too, but Anchor Bay is only a mile from my home. Awesome! I don't know about the other experiences at this place, for others writing a review. But I dig them! John is a good guy.I like how he treats customers. I have overheard him with others while I was waiting.I keep forgetting to ask his name but the mechanic there is also way cool.Haven't bought a bike from them yet! I plant to when I'm ready to up grade. I find his bikes Both new and used to be very nicely priced compared to the other shops around. I have bought many my tools and trail gear there.They took time to show me how to use the tools, and all work they have done for me was completed VERY quickly!! ( two rims trued in 40 min. ) more

I feel like I am either dealing with people who don't care or are just not as sharp as they should be. Recently experienced problem with some hayes brakes that squeel loud when used. They told me that was normal, yes if you deaf or just like noise I agree. I am taking my business somewhere where they truely care about people who have already purchased there bike there and arent a new purchase.\r \r I had planned on buying or upgrading components but don't feel this is the place for me. more

The staff here is excellent. Very friendly, and know exactly what they are talking about, which is great. I left feeling more knowledgable about bikes and truly informed to make a good decision.\r \r They also have a huge selection in store, and they do have more offsite. Everything from last years models to this years models are displayed, and the prices are very good as well. I would highly recommend them if you are in the area and need a new bike. more

If you want a new bike or need a repair on an existing bike, they are friendly and pricing is reasonable. You can special order an unusual bike seat (if desired) and they will install it on your new bike. Nice variety of bikes to choose from, ranging from kids to adult bikes.
