Can I give ten star? Cause I would. I bought a Living Social a few months ago and have been back 3 times already.

Worst

I called and made an appointment for a mani/pedi through and online deal I had purchased. When I showed up for my appointment, the owner of the salon said I told her I did not hav...

Returning Customer 6/27/2011

I recently moved to Denver, CO and was hesitant about trying new nail salons. I checked a few nail salons out and was not to keen on getting any services done at any of them. One day I came across ANANDA SALON, they were very welcoming and the salon looked really nice and well taken care of. I got a pink and white full set (Summer the owner did my nails) she was very precise and very careful. My nails looked AMAZING !!! and when they started growing out they still looked great !!! I have gone back and will keep going there. You should too !! more

WORST!!! Customer Service I've EVER Experienced 5/4/2011

Summer, the owner is nasty. She plays dumb. Is rude and will take advantage of a situation to make money. more

This place is amazing... It is the staff that makes it! 4/23/2011

These people are simply amazing. The pedicure I got lasted so long, they really took their time with me and they are so friendly. I was so tired of going to the expensive, pompous and overpriced salon that I usually go to. I decided to try something different, and I am glad that I did. more

Inflexible Customer Service 1/9/2011

I bought a Groupon for this place and called to schedule my visit. They had appointments available, but not for Groupon users. She also said they don't allow you to call the day-of for an appointment, but that you have to schedule your appointment 24-hours in advance. SO basically what I heard from Ananda Salon was, ""No. No. No."" Pro-tip: If you want to expand your business, you probably ought to treat potential NEW customers with a little more flexibility. Ananda Salon is LAME. more

liars and theives 12/17/2010

This salon overcharged me, then would not return my calls to address the overcharge. 2 WEEKS later, I finally got the manager to talk with me about the over charge and she was very rude. First, she accused me of lying about the services I received (which they could not confirm because they keep horrible records of their services rendered), and then she would not refund my overpayment. I WILL NEVER go back to this place- they are thieves and liars. more

BEST SALON IN DENVER 8/5/2010

This salon, and the ladies that work there are the best nail salon, bar non in Denver, I have tried others, and happened upon this treasure in Cherry Creek North, where you wuld expect snotty over priced average service..Quite the opposite, the salon is quaint, very relaxing, warm and friendly, the ladies make a point of knowing everyones name and actually speak to you in English and not behind you back in another language like every other salon around. Their work is superior to the other salons around. more

Great salon 8/5/2010

This salon is located in such a great place, with easy access to Cherry Creek mall. The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and inviting. The girls really try to make you feel welcome, attentive to the services you need, plus offering additional services I didn't even think of. They talk with you, want to know how your day is going, and make you feel like you're the most important person of their day. Recommend this salon to anyone! more

Do not give these people your business 5/23/2010

The girl I had been going to for my nails moved, so I had to find a new place. After looking at quite a few nail places online, I chose Anada because of the reviews I read about it (most were positive). Plus, I figured since it is right in the heart of Cherry Creek they must be pretty good or they wouldn't survive (I won't ever make that assumption again). Right from the first impression I was not too happy... I walked in on-time, to see a slightly grungy, cramped little salon, which smelled like chemicals, and was extremely hot and stuffy to boot. Three girls were right near the door giving pedicures, they all looked up at me, yet none of them said a word, or even gave me a smile or nod. No greeting or acknowledgment at all. So I stood there for a minute (wondering if I should just turn around and leave - in hindsight I should have), and finally a girl came out from the back, greeted me, asked me to have a seat... said it would be a few minutes. Ok, fine. I am ok with waiting 5 or 10 minutes, I know things run behind... I waited approximately 35 minutes before they even began work on me. The girl was clearly in a huge rush once she started... probably because more ladies had come in since me, and they were also waiting... none looking too pleased. Anyway, because she was in a rush, she was very rough with the file machine, gouging my fingers more than once. I had come in for a set of UV gels, so when she pulled out a powder (with a purple liquid activator... clearly acrylic) to start applying to my nails, I stopped her, and reminded her that I wanted gels. She replied that this was a ""new gel powder"", which I know for a fact is complete bullsh*t. Gel is gel, you set it under a UV light, no exceptions. What she had was clearly an acrylic, and no lights anywhere around. I let her proceed anyway, because I was on a tight schedule to get my nails done, and I had already invested 45 minutes in this place. She did an ok job with the application, but I was extremely angry that she was lying to me. I was paying more for gels... I may as well just have gotten acrylics (the same thing), for $15 less. When it was time for the top clear coat, the bottle that she needed was empty... so she looked in the other stations for another bottle, and when she couldn't find one, she clearly pulled out (right in front of me) a completely different bottle. I didn't say anything, but she could see me eyeing it, and said ""this is a new kind of gel topcoat... doesn't need to be set under a light"". (Yet another lie... because she had obviously run out of the stuff they normally use). I paid, left, and immediately began looking for a new nail salon to go to when I need these fixed. And of course, only two days after I had them done, the ""new"" clear top coat is cracking on all fingers... I can actually see the crack lines, especially over the white tip area) and some of the cracks are apparently deep enough to collect a little dirt, so they are actually dark. Unfortunately, they are not deep/open enough that I can scrub the dirt out. So now I have lovely little black crack lines over my nails. Maybe in a few days the cracks will get big enough to at least remove the dirt. Bottom line... these people are dishonest, their equipment is dirty, apparently they do not even keep a stock of items they need, so if they run out you might get a crappy substitute. And most important of all... they are completely dishonest. If you are going to spend money to get your nails done... spend it somewhere else. Good luck! Cons: Poor service, dirty, dishonest more

Place to go to book your parties 12/13/2009

I've been going to Ananda Salon and Day Spa for a year now. Through out this year they have been very consistent with their exceptional service!! They have yet to disappoint me and somehow i feel like they always go out of their way to meet my needs. A few weeks ago i booked a party for 5 of us gals. So today was the day that i booked it. I couldn't be more happy to have made that decision. When my party and I arrived to my suprise, they had champagne and truffles and the WORKS! They really went out of their way to accommodate us and everyone had a great time! Thanks Ananda!! Pros: Great experienced professional staff, Pedicure Chairs, more! more

Don't Purchase Holiday Gift Cetificates Here... 10/15/2009

My wonderful hubby got me a gift certificate to Ananda Salon for Christmas 12/24/08. Since I work full time I was not able to use the certificate until 09/08/09. The receptionist told me the gift certificate had expired when I went to Ananda Salon on the morning of 09/08/09. I called back later that same morning and told the receptionist that the gift certificate had not expired and that the dates on it read: 12/24/08-12/24/09. She then replied that the salon was under new ownership and it was up to the new owner if they would honor their own gift certificate. I am very disappointed in the way this salon does business, and due to the way in which this situation was handled I would prefer to not use Ananda's Salon services. My hubby should be given a refund of:$43.00. This salon is not customer service oriented, does not stand behind and or honor services that have been paid for and I prefer a salon that is customer service oriented. Ananda Salon did refund my hubby $21.00. Not good enough...BEWARE!!! Cons: Very Unprofessional Customer Service more
