It isn't very often that I can find a white girl who can cut my thick crazy Puerto Rican hair! Thank you Amy, I will definitely be coming back. Wait until my Papi sees this cut! Pros: Cool hairdresser. Very skilled. Treats people nice. Not snobby. Cons: None. more

Best Haircut in Town! 6/28/2006

Hey Ya'll...This is the place to go if you want to get a good, reasonable cut, in a relaxed atmosphere. Amy is awesome. Most of the time, I seriously have no idea what type of cut I want when I walk in. She helps me figure it out and I have to say, each time I leave lookin pretty hot. She has also done some amazin updos on me. If you go to see her, tell her Susie B says hello! Pros: Totally relaxed atmosphere. Highly skilled stylist (Amy). Flexible hours. Cons: None that I know of. more

Great Haircut. Good Hours and Price. 6/28/2006

Admittedly, I haven't scoured all of the hair salons in Austin but I am very happy to have found Hyridge Salon and Amy. Most of the haircutting places I've tried around town don't seem to be equally skilled in cutting men's and women's hair. From what I've seen, Amy does both very well. I have a major cowlick and it can be tricky to make my hair look presentable, but Amy does a really good job (I got lots of compliments on my last cut). I'll be back again and again. Pros: Nice Salon. Friendly Staff. Good Pricing. Cons: I haven't had a negative experience there yet. more

Great With Curly Hair! 6/27/2006

As a guy with curly hair, I've visited more hairstylists over the years than I can even remember...and Amy Evers is the first one who knows how to get curly hair just right. Now I'm hooked! I wouldn't dream of getting my hair cut by anyone other Amy! more
