very poor workmanship, 10 phone calls to have them come back, 1 year later still not right not recommended at all. Cons: will not return calls more

We contracted with American Fence Company (AEC) for the installation of a fence. We were assured that our fence would be constructed in the appropriate location w/in 4-6 weeks following our initial down payment which we made 5/12/05. 6mos. later after repeated calls and complaints, our fence was completed on 11/23/05. Because of their delays, we incurred approximately $300 in expenses as well as the inability to complete our landscaping and sod work. We also determined the fence encroached upon our neighbor's property which could result in us incurring additional expense to move the same. We would not recommend AEC to ANYONE -- EVER!! Pros: Fence looks nice, albeit not on our, property line Cons: Misrepresentations, Poor Workmanship, Poor Customer Service more
