Wonderful care 5/27/2009

A while back, our beloved cat, Rambo, went into cardiac arrest. I raced him to the nearest vet, which was Alpine Animal Hospital. I pulled up in front and before I had Rambo out of the car, one employee was holding the door open for me and another was directing me to a room. The doctor rushed in, but it was too late. At the time, I was right at the end of providing home hospice for my dad and losing Rambo at that time was devastating for the entire family. Alpine coordinated having Rambo picked up for creamation and gave us information regarding the creamation services. They called when Rambo was returned to them. They not only didn't charge us anything, but a few days later we received a sympathy card from them with a lock of Rambo's fur. Is there more that I need to say? It was so comforting at just the right time. We just purchased a puppy and we will definitely trust the care of our puppy to Alpine Animal hospital. more

The Best Care for Your Pet 1/31/2006

Only a few months ago, my cat fell ill with a liver failure condition known as hepatic lipidosis, or fatty liver. As I hadn’t had a consistent vet in quite some time, I took her to Alpine Animal Hospital simply because my parents had used them before. Right from the very beginning, both Cleo and I received the most caring treatment possible, from both the doctors and the women in the office. Although I chose to nurse Cleo at home instead of hospitalizing her, the vets – particularly Dr. Tim Ruggles, the young vet Cleo saw almost exclusively – supported me every step of the way. In fact, Dr. Ruggles called me every few days to find out how Cleo was progressing. After a month of force-feeding her, Cleo started eating and drinking on her own, and is now doing just fine. I don’t think Cleo and I could have pulled through as well as we did without the support of Dr. Ruggles and everyone else at Alpine Animal Hospital. more
