Sure the school offers a great place for a great massage the students there for the most part are awsome and will go far in life. As for the Mgmt/Owners they suck they treat their students with constant disrespect. The students work hard only to get the jar of vaseline in the end. As for the tips Please dont leave any the students dont ever get any of it. They promise you the world you end up being their money maker These new students that write great reviews Ha!!! ask them again in about 5 months what they think Is the low fees worth the hastle definately not Again great for getting a Massage crappy place to learn You want your therapist to get the tip give it to them behind the curtain otherwise they will never see it more

I recently visited Alpha School of Massage and will never go anywhere else. I have paid $60-100 per hour for massages in the past. Not anymore! I was worked on by Johnny reaves and he was amazing. The Alpha School of Massage is an excellent place to get a good quality massage. I love coming here for my massages! I have sent my mom and hubby here as well. It's a great massage for a great price. I know it's not ""perfect"" compared to the high priced places but I have the opinion that students need to learn hands-on and this is the perfect place for it. I enrolled in Alpha School of Massage a month ago and can honestly say I feel I made the right decision. The staff are real knowledgeable and friendly and go out of their way to work with your schedule and to make sure you stay caught up with classwork and massage clinicals. I have already learned Swedish massage, Barefoot massage, and chair massage in just a month's time of being there! In addition to the flexible schedules and awesome staff, there is also a tuition waiver for the program! Whereas other schools in the area may charge $10-20,000 for tuition alone, Alpha waives their tuition for the 900 hour program, leaving my only expenses for books and supplies. Great place for general public to get massaged as well as we only charge $30 for a 1 hr massage....best deal in town for price AND quality! more

Travel throughout the US and not always able to workout as much as I would like to. Now I have the next best option available - Amber at Alpha School of Message. The first words that I can come up with is unbelievable. It was hard for me to believe that she is a student and hasn't been helping people like myself for years. By far the best massage I have had EVER! The price really doesn't matter but at $30 for an entire hour - please. Not to mention the manager is as professional as you get. Thanks!!! more

I had a massage with Teri today, and she gave me the best massage that I've ever had. I play the piano and organ and as a result the muscles in my neck and shoulders get all twisted up. She very patiently worked on me to release those muscles. more

I am a graduate of Alpha School of massage, 900 hour class of 2008. When I heard on the local news that Alpha (the oldest and most respected school in Jacksonville) was waiving it's tuition I wasted no time signing up. It was the best decision I have ever made. I received an excellent education and a lot of hands on experience. It is a great school, the instructors are very knowledgeable and dedicated. Mr. Garcia really knows how to teach in a way that makes learning easy and fun. I shall be forever grateful and I love being a massage therapist. They changed my life and they can change yours too. I can assure you there is nothing more to it than that. FREE TUITION ??!! ARE YOU CRAZY?? DON'T PASS THIS UP!! Even to this day I still look back and am so THANKFUL for this opportunity of a life time. Don't be fooled by the building because it may be a little bit older than what I would have liked, considering I would be spending a good amount of my time there. I have always believed in and have had a passion in the ability to promote better health naturally though massage therapy. I had previously checked out other schools and their tuition was way out of my league. I heard about Alpha School of Massage waiving the tuition and couldn't believe it. Well, I have recently graduated and I have to say that my journey here has been absolutely amazing. Both, the knowledge and experience I have gained is priceless. Don't let the free tuition fool you. The quality of teaching is amazing, interesting and fun. This school just believes every one should have the same opportunity to have a career through massage therapy. You will not only learn the basic relaxation massage, the barefoot technique, but also therapeutic techniques that help with relieving pain and stiffness from a headache to neck, back or shoulder problems. Some of the other things taught with the course are protocols to help those who suffer from Fibromyalgia, Tension / Migraine Headache, and Temporal Mandibular Joint ( T.M.J. ) Disorder. As a student @ Alpha School of Massage I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in this field. With many schools to choose from, I had several questions and concerns. When I called Alpha they were running a special program and they were waiving the $9000 tuition ! I must admit that greatly influenced my decision. When I came to Alpha, I found out it was the oldest massage school in Jacksonville. Our teacher is great and he has an abundance of knowledge he has shared with us. We have learned massage practices for : tension and migraine headaches, low back pain, fibromyalgia, tempormandibular joint dysfunction, and a barefoot deep tissue massage. We offer these to the public along with the swedish relaxation massage. We have also had the opportunity to go to local businesses and offer chair massages on the employees. This was alot of fun. I believe that this school is dedicated to the massage industry and they have a desire to see the students succeed and they are not here just to make money. I have enjoyed the classes and everyone I have met here. This has been one of the best decisions I have made.
