DON'T BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!! This animal clinic messed up my dogs eye and refused to be accountable for it. What was supposed to be a routine $150 dental cleaning costed us over $1000 to fix!!! We have been through hell with AJAH, and will never bring our pets to them again. more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I brought my dog here for boarding and picked up a different dog. He boarded for about 4 days, so i had to pay for a bath. When he came home his paws were full of poop and his upper lip was extremely swollen and red! I took him for a grooming about 3 weeks after, he acted like he was traumatized! He's a sweet and calm dog and he bit the groomer and they refused to finish the groom! He has never acted like that, all after the visit from Aloma Jancy! The groomer said my dog was scared thats why he was biting and that he must have been abused or had a traumatizing experience. He was bathed at Aloma Jancy prior to this and I have never had this happened before!!!!! I am horrified that this has happened and do not wish any dog to stay or go here! Ask for a tour of the place i failed in that and should have. I would have maybe seen dogs in their own feces, they weren't even embarrassed to give him back with poop! Never again will I be going here or anyone I know. I have pictures, it doesn't let me post them if not i would!!!!! more

I have been going to this vet since 2002. In the beginning. They provided good preventative maintenance care. \r \r I recently took my Beloved Pom in for an Emergency on 3/18/13. He had blood coming out of his urine. Time we notice it, we rushed him right in. We love and take excellent care of our pets. Yrly shots, flea meds, heart meds, dental rinse and dental cleaning as needed. \r \r They said he had "" maybe ""kidney stones. To us, this didn't seem urgent. We gave him the meds that they sent us home with and we gave them daily as prescribed. \r \r 3/19/13 we rushed him back to the Vet because we felt something was just not right. He is so weak, barely moving. We had to insist that they keep him for observation. \r \r They kept him for two nights and told us it was ok to get him on 3/22/13. He still wasn't any better. We called them and the incompetent vet tech told us that if he's not eating alot that's why he's not using the bath room. \r \r Our beloved pet of 8 years died 3/26/13. We are devastated they do not know why he is dead. They could not explain it and said we may never know.\r \r Dr. Murray is not well physically. He has a neurological d/o so there are fill in vets. We are so unhappy with the lack of knowledge and competency.\r \r Our 8 yr old Pom should not be dead from Kidney Stones. We are not blaming anyone there. They are only good for shots, dental cleaning and boarding only. \r \r Please do not use them for anything urgent not even for anything that may appear to be simple or mild.\r \r If your dog is not well and you do not know why, please take them to an A rated Vet. Check Angies List. I don't won't anyone to lose their beloved pet like me did. It's going to take us along time to get over his absence. Do not recommend for any mild illness. Dental cleaning and shots only. Aloma Yancy has a C or F rating right now. The quality of experience service and knowledge has declined significantly more

I am writing this because it is extremely hard to find a #1 Veterinarian. Well here he is!!! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. MURRAY!!!! My husband and I call him Dr. Doolittle. If you watch him, he has an amazing way with animals. Our dogs are 13 & 14 yrs. old and it is refreshing how he is all about the animals. Unfortunately, since the dogs were born we had to move with work being forced to see a few other vets not having positive experiences. However, we have been lucky enough for the majority of the dogs lives to utilize Dr. Murray. Any issue the dogs experienced which isn't many, he correctly diagnosed right away. He never overcharges or stresses out our animals with rediculous exams, x-rays, or blood work. When our dog was 4 months old (about 12 1/2 yrs ago), I called him in the middle of the night with an emergency. He was so patient, helpful, and advised me to bring him in which I did at 3:45am. The overnight vet gave him a shot and told me to bring him back the next day to double check to see how he was doing. I asked what the charge was and he said no charge. Dr. Murray said he will see you tomorrow to see how he is doing. If this doesn't show how concerned about animals over financial gain, I don't know what does. Now please don't go asking for free services because we want him to stay in business...smile. However, he is always extremely reasonable as well as directed us with correct recommendations for our dogs. As good as he is he should be paid millions!! We are proud to say because of him our dogs are healthy and happy living long lives. My husband and I highly recommend him!! more

After holding to have to ask a vet tech a simple question about cat pregnancy, then hanging up and calling back asking if the receptionist had forgotten possibly about me by accident, I was told, oh no he was just busy so that's why you were having to wait so long. I then asked, ""could you not of possibly came back on the line and simply told me that instead of just leaving me sitting there waiting"" when she replied, oh look he's ready now, then just automatically transferred my call, which I in return- simply hung up! Not very professional at all, nor courteous is my only gripe! more

I had a horrendous experience with this vet a while back - they ended up malpracticing and killing my cat. They then attempted to cover up their mistakes, claiming a necropsy could not be performed because they had frozen the cat's body. This was a flat out LIE which was exposed when I took the cat to another vet who did a necropsy no problem. This vet found no reasonable cause for death during PRE-OP, the surgery had not even begun. The office then refused to send me any paperwork about what happened besides Dr. Murray's horribly sloppy, handwritten notes which were basically illegible. Multiple requests for typed up medical notes were ignored, until one day Dr. Murray got on the phone to scream at me about daring to think they did something wrong. I ended up filing a complaint with the Dept. of Business Regulation and they so did many other people - 13 complaints were being reviewed when I last inquired. This led to Dr. Murray losing his license (again) and he was featured on CF News 13 where several others testified to losing animals to him, and to his serious drug problems. He still owns this vet office I believe so BE WARNED! more

I took my dog in to get x-rays and they wouldn't give my dog back till the next day. When i picked her up they said her leg was broke and put a nail through her leg to fix it..they put tape around her leg and left the wound open where they inserted it. The vet flipped out once we asked what he did to out dog. They never said they were going to do ""surgery"" on her and didn't even tell us until we picked her up. STAY AWAY! more

I never had any problems coming to this vet, They always treat my pet with the most care. more

I had a ferret and he was ill so I called around looking for a vet that saw exotic animals, When I found Aloma I was so happy. They treated my ferret with so much love and care. more

We've had some great experiences at Aloma Jancy Animal Hospital. The staff is super nice, especially Kim. They have taken wonderful care of our puppies. Their prices are very reasonable and the wait times are very short, if any. This operation gives back so much to the community! more

Helpful Vets My Lop bunny needed stitches and Aloma Jancy took him in at night, took great care of him, and he recuperated fast. Although he sewed the stitches sloppily, Jancy at least is close, relatively cheap, and I haven't had a problem yet. more

They are excellent with animals and their front desk staff are nice. more

In my opinion, these are competent professionals who genuinely care for their patients. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good vet, I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. more

Aloma Jancy is truly world-class! I went in very worried about my puppy's eye, which appeared to be infected. The staff was extremely competent and so friendly - Tara at the front desk was practically an angel! The vet, ""Dr. D,"" was very knowledgeable and thorough with a wonderful bedside manner - he was loving to my puppy and really took the time to answer all my questions. That's so rare! I couldn't believe how helpful everyone was from beginning to end, from handling my frantic questions on the way in to considering my financial situation on the way out, and everything in between more

I brought my cat Garfield in for a psychical and the doctor was nice and very caring. Garfield needs to be on a diet. more

Aloma Jancy is just fantastic! My 10-month-old puppy had what looked to be an eye infection, and I was very worried about him when I walked in their doors. The staff was patient, friendly and well-versed in dealing with both animals AND their humans - Tara at the front desk was practically an angel! The vet, ""Dr. D,"" was very knowledgeable and thorough, and took the time to really listen to me and answer all my questions. His love for animals was apparent in his warmth toward my puppy! I could trust that my l'il boy was in capable hands. I couldn't believe how helpful everyone was from beginning to end, from handling my frantic questions on the way in to considering my financial situation on the way out, and everything in between. And, as if all that weren't enough, I'm thrilled to have an opportunity to share this story of the staff's pure awesomeness: I got in my car and gave my puppy his pill right away...and he promptly spit it out, sending it rolling into the no-man's-land under my driver's seat! I went back inside to ask for a flashlight to find it, but I got more than that - Tara whipped out her iPhone with its super-bright light, and she and her co-worker (I wish I remembered his name - he was great too!!) came outside to help me look! And then, when none of us could find it and I didn't think they could get any more amazing...they replaced the pill! I can't say enough about my truly wonderful experience with ""Dr. D"" and the staff at Aloma Jancy. I recommend the place without hesitation. more

So we first walk in the door and are greeted right away, the front desk was not the problem. after about 20 minutes of waiting the doctor comes out and takes us and our dog back to one of the rooms. our dog had a raw spot on him leg and wondered if it was a hot spot or a sting from a jelly fish (we had been to the ocean) The doctor after looking at the spot for about 10 seconds pulled out a book that looked like it had been made in the 80's and got all of his info out of there. Claiming that it was this kind of infection and that my dog need 3 different types of pills, 2 creams, a powder, and a shot.(not to mention the shaving fee and bio-hazard fee) so for what we found out to be just a ""skinned"" leg the doctor wanted to charge us $350.00. my wife and I were not exactly expecting to be charged so much money and ask the tech if we needed absolutely everything on the list. he said that really all we need was 2 of the pills and the rest were ""just in case"" items. so this guy wanted to charge us $250 more than what we really needed, And I think it is because my wife and I are younger. Another thing that was very strange about this guy (the doctor) was he kept taking to us about how 15 yrs ago he wanted to start doing ""Animal Piercings"" after he saw that my wife and i both had our lips pierced and maybe it was time to start campaigning for this idea again see as how many people have it done now-a-days. Basically we think this guy is a whack job and get all of his knowledge from an old book. Do not go here! more

I have been going to Dr. Murray for a few years now and I can't believe anyone who really has been there would say anything but wonderful things about him. I think it is funny that someone said the hospital used to be a trailer because it never was. It used to be much smaller, but never a trailer. You are obviously thinking of somewhere else. And not only that but the hospital is so nice and always VERY clean! I had my dog in to be spayed a couple of weeks ago and her surgery got bumped back a couple of hours as well, but it was because they had FIVE emergencies they were treating! I completely understood why she didn't get done on the normal schedule! Anyone who doesn't should be ashamed! Also, I just happened to be driving home from work while she was in there for surgery and I saw them walking her outside. It sure did put my mind at ease knowing that she was being taken such good care of! My sister is a veterinarian in Minnesota and I had to ask her if it was true that a vaccine would kill a cat because of it's breed and she laughed and laughed. She said that was not possible! You people need to get your facts straight before coming on here and publicly slandering an awesome hospital with an awesome doctor who has helped countless animals! more

My husband has been taking his dog here for years.. when it was a trailer. I have always noticed that the place is dirty.. and usually has urine somewhere that hasnt been cleaned up. The exam tables are covered in fur from the last dog. Today was the last time they will ever see one of my pets. more
