In July 2025, Allstate Auto Glass replaced the windshield for my Volkswagen Tiguan for around $800.
When I got it back, the adaptive cruise control was not working correctly and there was a fault message related to automatic headlights. The problem was that OEM glass was not used so it did not calibrate correctly.
The store owner Vali offered to replace the windshield with OEM glass for another $500. Given the issues I already had with them, I didn't want to spend more at Allstate so I ended up getting the calibration issues fixed elsewhere.
I trusted their expertise to fix this correctly the first time but was instead asked to pay more. Really disappointing.
