Allied Cab

Garbage, absolute garbage. My car broke down for a couple months and I had to use this crappy company for a month. The dispatcher always says the cab will be there in 5 to 10 minutes, but it always takes around 2 hrs and make sure you know the quickest way and make them go in that direction because they will insist on going a longer route. Make sure you tell them every turn because they will purposely miss turns and to ad time to your trip. Sometimes they don't even come, worst company ever. more

RIDERS BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They always take at least 2 hrs to get a cab to you, and that's if the cab even shows up! usually the driver gives some lame excuse like ""he couldn't find the house"" or ""no one ever came out to meet them""  (Which is bull bc I was waiting on the front porch the whole time) They are also rude, they over charge, and intentionally take people, especially tourist, the longest route possible to pocket more money!! RIDERS BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I'd give then NO stars if I could! more

i contacted allied for a ride to the local movie theater, 1 hr before the movie was to start i was told 15 minutes and no cab ever arrived i called at 11:30 they said call in 10mins then 11:45 still no cab and the movie starts at 12 olock very poor service and very slow dont bother calling if you want to be somewhere more

I made a reservation 48 hours in advance for two taxis to bring a group of students to my house for a dinner. I checked 24 hours ahead. I checked again the day of. Ten minutes after the ETA I called and was informed ""no ETA because no driver has yet been assigned."" I was astonished. The supervisor said ""we do not guarantee a time of arrival for a reserved taxi."" Oddly, this declaration is not on their web site. After 45 minutes I cancelled the dinner party and the students went home. DO NOT RELY ON ALLIED FOR ANYTHING more

Most folks don't know that the largest cab company in Nashville which includes these four companies. 1, Allied 2. Nashville Cab 3. Diamond 4. TAXIUSA are all linked into a dispatch system located in Salt Lake Utah. That is why they basically do not know what they are doing. For example if someone calls for a taxi from the stadium during a game, the dispatchers don't know that a taxi cannot get there and they send the info to the driver who is then forced to try and get there and pick somone up. Or if someone calls from lower Broadway at 1 AM on Saturday night...they dispatch a driver to try and get that person, Only thing is, the person finally realizes that every other vehichle on the road is a taxi and they are long, long gone. So while the morons in Salt Lake City are dispatching rediculous calls to drivers the real customers are home waiting an hour for someone to show up. Solution: contact a taxi company that has a local dispatcher that knows the area such as Yellow, Music City or Checker. Also, in the past I've had dispatchers tell me they do not have someone in the area and they cannot pick you up instead of yanking your chain like the Salt Lake City Utah crew for Allied. more

A Nashville ALLIED cab driver was arrested in New York City Tuesday on charges he raped a Franklin woman last November.\r \r Joseph Newton, 46, was taken into custody after he arrived back in the United States on a flight from his home country of Ghana, Africa (That Figures).\r \r Investigators used DNA evidence taken from the 27-year-old victim to link Newton to the crime.\r \r Police allege he raped the victim inside his Allied cab minivan near Hillsboro Road and Interstate 440 in the early morning hours of November 18, 2009.\r \r Prior to leaving the country, Newton was interviewed by detectives and allowed a sample of his DNA to be taken.\r \r Police said Newton denied any knowledge of the victim or a sexual assault.\r \r Newton is currently being held in a New York City jail and will be returned to Nashville in the coming days.\r \r It doesn't matter what cab company you call or take 95% of ALL cab drivers in the U.S. are foreigners from 3rd world countries and MOST (Almost ALL of em) are Muslim cab drivers. To them you are an INFIDEL, less than human. The will keep your cell phones, purses, wallets, cameras, luggage, etc. etc. They will play dumb and take the longest route & if your intoxicated they will molest or rape you (white women). While driving to work this morning I passed through a school zone of Murfreesboro road. RIght behind me riding my tail was an Allied cab. While all of the cars were obeying the posted 15 mph speed limit, the driver lays on his horn honking until he could get past at which point he probably got up to at LEAST 50 miles an hour. The remainder of the trip I watched from behind as he weaved back and forth and straddled two lanes to keep others from passing. License plate was CB 3579. more

A driver for Allied Cab sexually assaulted my sister last weekend in a parking garage. This is no joke! The company has not taken action, so you must! Stay away from Allied for your own safety. Better, write a letter demanding the hiring practices are changed!\r Thank you for support. more

I'm sitting here 2 hours after I called for a cab. I was told around 1/2 hour.\r \r I ended up calling another company, then called Allied back to cancel, when they told me ""No, he's just right around the corner"". I canceled the other cab...\r \r Now it's almost been yet another 1/2 hour and the driver has NOT shown up.\r \r It's a Sunday night, and I didn't hear a lot of commotion in the background while on the phone with them, so it doesn't seem like a terribly busy night for them.\r \r No idea why this is happening, but I won't use them again.\r \r more

Good if you are expecting a 45-60 min wait and if you are not in a hurry. They have many customers in Nashville so they don't treat their customers like they should. they would be a good company if they would treat their customers with respect and if they would consider their customers as their only business. Pros: Not timely., No rush., Clean. Cons: Rude Owner, Rude Manager, Rude call in person. more
