ditto here. replaced my worn crown. first, the temp crown came off, then the first permanent crown didn't fit, so i had to go through the entire temp-crown saga again.... then the 2nd crown was put on, then horrible pain when chewing, then he shaved the crown thinking my bite was off...and so on. that didn't work. so i returned & he shaved it again. to no avail. to this day, i have the same problem & the same pain. i can only assume he's incompetent. it's been highly frustrating. i can't chew on that side of my mouth. and now i'll have to pay for another crown with another dentist & a root canal as well on that same tooth. makes me mad writing about it. (sure, he paid for the 2nd crown & didn't charge me & acted nice about it...but he didn't fix the problem. how many times should a person have to return to a dentist before he fixes the problem? and just how many crowns should a person have to get? this transpired over the course of months & months. unbelievable. more

I recently went to All Care Dentistry for the first time. I picked this dentist primarily on the recommendation of a friend and neighbor, but they are also conveniently located near my house. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I am self employed so I don't have dental insurance. Instead of pressuring me to have a lot of expensive work done, they gave me several options for dental plans and suggested I find one that I liked in order to get better pricing. I called around and checked out the plans and then the staff went over what they covered for that particular company, which allowed me to pick out the plan that covered the most and costs the least amount of money! And Dr. Pate is awesome! He was very personable and patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. The hygienist was also very friendly and did a great job. The office is very pleasant and each of the rooms I have been in were very nice and relaxing, which is good for me because I normally hate going to the dentist. But that's all changed with Dr. Pate and his staff! I will never go anywhere else for my dental work! Pros: Friendly staff, great office location, superb dental care Cons: Nothing more

From the time I come in, and until the time I leave, I am treated Like a Queen. The Staff treat you like family and Dr Pate is like a father and big Brother.\r He make sure everything is to YOUR satisfaction! I have been to All Care Dentistry since the day Dr. Pate opened up in the 90's. He has a wonderful staff and he has trained them well. He and his staff are professional and caring at all times.\r \r Dr. Pate looks straight for the problem and if he can't handle it he will refer you to someone who can.\r \r I have moved a pretty good distance from his office, and tried another dentist, but needless to say I'M BACK. and will never go anywhere else.He is well worth the drive. I am new to the area and found Dr. pate through my insurance. I am so pleased with this office everyone was so kind and understanding especially with it being so long since ive had a dental visit. i was extremely nervous about any dental work being done but they explained everything so well where i understood an gave me a brokedown on what everything would cost an what all needed to be done. i had my cleaning done also an it was amazing nothing like i expected it to be it was painless which i thought was impossible i was very relaxed and everyone was so helpful and kind i def will be back to get the rest of my treatment done. more

Ive been a patient of Dr.Pate for a couple years now i just went in for my dental cleaning an every visits better than the last. The staff is so helpful an knowledgeable as well as Dr.pate and im so greatful to have found a dental office thats so courteous an caring, there's not to many medical offices out there like this anymore its a shame. Very cozy place. I was just visiting for my 6 month cleaning, but every time I go in, I always get in and out quickly. They do not overbook, and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes of my appointment time. Staff is very friendly. Pros: Quick, friendly staff more

We moved to Nashville from a small town, and I was quickly overwhelmed by all the options for dental care, and I was very turned off by impersonal, cold experiences at a local Dental Chain. We chose All Care Dentistry because we needed a change. From the beginning, when I was calling the office to set up appointments and get information transferred, the front office staff was so helpful, friendly, and courteous with my multiple phone calls and questions. The office is neat and clean, and we were brought into our appointments on time. Andrea, my hygienist, was very thorough with my cleaning, yet gentle at the same time. Dr. Pate was great. He was very personable and encouraging. Overall, I recommend All Care Dentistry and Dr. Pate 100% and I am thankful to have found a local dental office that reminds me of being back home. We recently chose a new dentist, wanting to move away from the Dental Chains. This office was on our insurance's list, and was close to home. We were very satisfied with the courtesy of the staff and the overall feel of the office. The dentist was great; very professional but seemed down to earth as well. I would definitely reccomend! In regards to this particular review (from jsnowrod) we are sorry that they feel this way; however, when a patient comes in for a cleaning and the hygienist takes a needed x-ray - if our doctor can not get away from another procedure to speak with the patient - the responsibility then falls to the hygienist to discuss the treatment. If the patient prefers, they may request to wait to see the doctor. Please let us assure you that as far as we are aware, endodontists do not pay general dentists for patient referrals. They may however provide such niceties as an occasional note or gift basket as thanks for entrusting the endodontist to treat our patients. We refer to Dr. Sheats’ office because we have a longstanding relationship with them and therefore trust their workmanship. Also, they accept the widest range of insurances. Labs fees will vary by each dental office and the particular lab they use. It is up to the patient if they decide to locate a dental office that uses a lab with lower fees. I had a really good experience with Dr. Pate and his staff. Everyone was nice and helpful. One of the nicest offices around - very clean and well manicured. I have been a patient for several years and am finally fed up. The last visit, a root canal was recommended by the HYGIENIST (I NEVER SAW THE DENTIST!! - I seledom do, but I thought for a recommendation of a root canal, at least...). I went to the office that they always refer (Sheats Endodontic group...hmm, I wonder if there is a some kind of referral fee that Sheats pays Allcare...), and then when it came time to get an appt for my crown, the office quoted me $595. My co-pay per my insurance is $275. I called and asked for a detailed estimate of lab fees and they could only fax me something with a generic statement ""lab fees = $320"" WHen I called to inquire about the details for those charges they said they would not disclose them. I cancelled my appointment and the one for my daughter as well. If I am going to pay for something, I want to know what it is. Cons: Overcharges for lab fees. more
