I have never been to your restaurant before. I have been looking for a decent pizza place that is open on Sunday. At first, things were wonderful. The pizza was good and we were definitely planning to return.\r

We ordered an XL pizza so we could have some left over. When we were finished, I tried for about 15 minutes to get the waiter’s attention to get our pizza boxed. I waved at him several times, tried to call to him, but he was too busy hanging with his friends.\r

We took our pizza up front to be boxed and to pay our bill. I asked if it was customary that your patrons would have to bring their own food to the front. At that point, the waiter appeared and was VERY rude about how it was MY fault that he hadn’t noticed my attempts to get his attention. He slammed the register after ringing us up. He had been awesome in the beginning so I left a $2 tip on our $15 bill – not my normal tip, but considering his behavior at that moment more than he deserved. I signed my slip and returned it, as he threw my receipt at me. I commented that I was tempted to take back the tip I’d left. His response was a very nasty “Take it, I don’t need it.”\r

When we got home I couldn’t find my phone. My daughter made several comments about how she hoped I hadn’t left it there because she was sure something awful would happen to it, and at the very least you would lie if we returned to get it. She doesn’t not want to ever return. She even commented that our son, who has an awful temper when he feels someone has done him wrong, would have handled himself much better than did our waiter.\r

I am SO disappointed. While we were eating I thought we’d found a new Sunday pizza place. But I don’t need to go somewhere I’m treated so badly.\r
