I have been to Alexander?s twice in the past year. This is one of the best restaurants on the Southbay. In reading the first review, I find it hard to believe that we were in the same restaurant. The service here has always been very attentive, with a very knowledgeable staff. I?ve had both the Porterhouse and the Ribeye. They are great. The Chef?s know how to prepare the food. The Portions are absolutely huge! Even though the prices are high, you get a lot. They do all of the dry-aging in-house. They are one of the few places to carry grade 5 or higher on real Kobe Beef. My dinning companion had the American Kobe, and it was so tender and cooked perfectly. After we had eaten, we were curious about a small room we saw upstairs, and the manager took us on a complete tour of the restaurant, including the kitchens! They are the most spotless kitchens I?ve ever seen.
Pros: Great Steaks and service
