Don't rent here unless you don't mind management automatically using your "security deposit" to steam clean carpets when you leave. The law says, and their own rental agreement states, that this deposit will not be used just for normal wear and tear. We rented here twice and the first time, we received our entire security deposit back. The second time, under the new management, Riverstone Residential, our security deposit was used as a carpet cleaning fee ($110.00) and there was no reason, other than normal wear and tear, to charge us extra for that. This was a total surprise because the carpet was in excellent shape, vacuumed, no stains, no pet had lived there and we were not told to have it steam cleaned from the pre move-out inspection, either. You also have to get their written permission to steam clean anyway. So, if you live there now, be prepared to kiss most of your security deposit goodbye! The manager is unbending on this.
