The technician, Travis, was very polite & knowledgeable. He replaced the rollers on our garage door & gave it a tune up. It works so smoothly now!

Worst

the problem was fixed when he contacted the office & fond he had two wires reversed - when reversed the system worked fine

Alamo Door & Awning gave me an appointment when I needed one and didn't give me any runaround. They came out promptly and fixed our garage door. more

Alamo Door & Awning lubricated my door and put some screws in. The only reason I used them was that, on a prior trip, the owner came, gave really prompt service, and really took care of me over here. Other than that, the second guy they sent was kind of just...I'm in sales too, but do all garage service people not give a cost figure beforehand? And how do they gauge the cost for a 15 minute job? As far as the service, I was taken care of okay, but I didn't care for the way they priced the work they did. They were prompt though, and it wasn't a long wait. Also, I was really happy with them when the owner came out the first time. more

The installer from Alamo Door & Awning couldn't make it when we wanted, which was fine. My problem was concerning a door that was sticking side to side as it closed. The worker explained that it was not the springs, but the front of the door was rubbing against the frame and it needed to be waxed. He sold me a kit where I could do it myself. I did it and it still catches a little bit as the door descends but it's better than it was before. more

Great technician 5/4/2012

I called because Alamo Door and Awning was close to where I lived. He was a gentleman technician and I observed him do the work and I thought he knew what he was doing and did a good job. I don't know about the rest of the company but I would recommend my technician. more

Worked fast and did a very good job! 5/3/2012

I really don't think Alamo Door & Awning could have done any better. They put in a little garage door in my garage in the back yard. They told me it would take them about 45 minutes to an hour, but I tell you, it only took them about 30-35 minutes. They worked fast and did a good job. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for this type of company. more

Repeat customer, speedy and nice service 4/20/2012

I am a repeat customer of Alamo Door and Awning. First I needed a few extra remotes and it was amazing how they made duplicates so quickly. This time, a storm had knocked out the remotes, none of the 3 were working, so I called them and they came out the next day and fixed them. You would be wise to use Alamo, the service is excellent. more

Knowledgeable work, reasonable pricing 4/17/2012

The office girl right up to the technician who came out were 5 stars. I used Alamo Door and Awning for some garage door adjusting and a tune-up. They showed me the spray they used to make my garage door less noisy, and showed me how to maintain it. He left me a sticker with an emergency number incase I needed them and helped me to know how to do some of the maintenance work myself. The price was reasonable, they called ahead to make sure I knew they were coming, and the service is great. I was very satisfied. more

Friends referred me to Alamo a few years back for garage door and opener repair. They are always prompt and friendly. Have had them replace an old door opener -- and the new one is sooooo quiet! I have recommended them to others. Great service and prices too. more

A friend of mine had used Alamo Door & Awning a few days prior, and recommended them to me because I was looking for a good garage repair company. So I went by their business, they do have a walk-in place. They were very congenial and professional. I made an appointment, which I then had to reschedule, and they were great with. They arrived promptly on time, did the work in an efficient manner. They worked quickly and were very professional. I would definitely work with them again and would highly recommend them to anybody. more

Efficient job at a reasonable price 3/14/2012

I used Alamo Door and Awning service at first because they were located close to me. I have since used them for a few projects, mainly different repairs. I continue using them because they are timely and quick to respond, always show up when they say they will, and do the job efficiently at a reasonable price. more

Fast, efficient, and very courteous 3/12/2012

We have used Alamo Door & Awning a few times. They have put a whole new garage door up and a new unit. They are very prompt and we have never had to wait long to schedule them to come out or to finish their projects. They do their work real fast and efficient. The workers are courteous and we continue to use them for their quality of customer service and work. If looking for a door and awning company, check Alamo first, you shouldn't be disappointed. more
