Aim Personnel Svc

My sister and I found work with this service and were treated with respect and are still very happy with our jobs. I thought they were very helpful and honest on why I was out of work so long in my major marketing.I worked three different temporary jobs and then they sent me for an interview in Canton and they hired me! I would highly recommend this place to help you. My sister sent me there and she got a bonus referral check and after I started work she treated me to dinner and drinks! So I would give it a chance too if you need work...tell them Debbie B. sent you so I can get the bonus if you get hired! Thank you! more

I found a job with this employment service. I was reluctant to go to this service or any agency from bad experiences years ago with agencies in NYC. They were very friendly and professional and reviewed my resume helping me to narrow down what I might be looking to do at this time. I worked a couple of temp jobs through them and they called a month later and told me about an insurance company looking for my background. They asked if they could forward my new resume. That same afternoon I got a call back and Thursday had an interview and was hired after two long nervous hours of interviewing to start that following week! Anyway very happy with my new job (money and benefits good). Even in this down market keep your options open and you will eventually find work too! Sometimes it takes awhile but keep trying! Thanks again Aim you were the bright light at the end of the tunnel and I will never forget you!! I sent you guys flowers hope you enjoy them!!!!!! more

Awful... I see quite a few people who have had great experiences...I on the other hand was treated poorly. I have a college education and a great background as well as referenes when they were asked for. Unfortunately when speaking with Danielle... she told me she was shocked I would show up to her office with a forearm tattoo which is two love birds holding an irish flag like banner ...very small by the way. I was also informed that this was the reason why places were not hiring me. Just when I thought nothing else offensive could poor out of her mouth she told me I need to cover it up if I ever wanted a remotely decent job. \r \r Well Danielle...after leaving your office disgusted... how dare you even tell me how to apply for a job appropriately when your receptionist was beyond rude. I'd just like to say I have an excellent job that isn't temp and I am rewarded on a daily basis for the priojects I complete. Oh and on a side note.. I start my full sleeve next fall... ;) more

My Aunt sent me to Aim after I relocated here from Conn.. I had been to several companies and sent my resume to many many places and was down to not paying my rent/bills in a week! I spent alot of money going to college and it was very upsetting to me and my friends to not have had a chance to start my career.....until I went to Aim! I was so happy with my placement specialist Danielle who actually placed my Aunt over 12 years ago! She was very understanding and helpful and actually remembered my Aunt who she had found work for and knew she was still working at the same company.Thanks to Aim I am now working for a great company with benefits and wish I had gone there when I first started looking for work. It is an awful market but you need to just keep putting your resume and appication out there. This is a nice employment agency and glad my Aunt told me about them. more

WOW! I had a great experience with this agency. They were busy, but I felt that I received ample time and direction to complete the necessary paperwork. My interview was professional and I sensed they wanted a good match. I was placed in a temp job (my request) within a week. Thumbs up to using this agency. more

I certainly did not have the same experience as the others. My experience with this place was awful. I was called in for an interview last fall after responding to a posting of theirs. Out of all those working there that day, only one woman seemed remotely respectful; it was a shame I had the least interaction with her. The secretary was surly to say the least. Her demeanor was cold, aloof, and standoffish. A few minutes after I had filled out the required paperwork, I realized I was still holding onto one of their pens. After I placed it back into the pen cup, she snapped, ""Thank you!"", but it was with an accusatory tone which implied, ""I was watching to see whether or not you'd return the pen!!!"" Atta girl, pen police... The ""interview"" I had with the recruiter - I believe her name was Danielle - was equally sour. The conversation was extremely rushed and railroaded, as I could barely get a word in edgewise with her constant interrupting. I honestly felt like a piece of cattle which they were trying to rush in and out. I expressed that I was interested in direct hire positions only. After not hearing from them (again) for months, I sent an e-mail expressing that I would also be interested in temp-to-hire positions. I have yet to hear anything back. In short, I found this place both rude and unprofessional and a complete waste of time and gas. From my experience, I don't recommend this agency whatsoever. more

I was always weary about staffing firms and was afraid I would just end up being another resume sitting on the shelf, and I tried to just go at it on my own. After realizing theres absolutely nothing out there and tired of waking up everyday looking for jobs that aren't even there, I succumbed. It did take me a little bit to finally get an interview with them set up but I got there. I ended up going on an interview the very next day! The woman I worked with was sooo nice and sooo friendly I really felt like she was pulling for me. I don't write reviews on anything but I felt like I owed this company, I got a job 3 days after my initial meeting with them. It saved my life! I hope that if you decide to use this service that you get as good as luck & timing as I have. more

The front desk greeted me very professionaly and was able to answer all my questions before I filled out the application. I met with a recruiter who was very nice and honest and she helped me with my resume. I left there feeling they truly cared about me and look forward to working with them. I went to several other places in Boston and felt I was just a number and glad my sister told me about AIM they are truly a great place to go when you are looking for work and very helpful. more

I lost my job and registered with many agencies to get a new position. AIM Personnel Services was the only agency to contact me about open positions. They sent me out on several assignments. Finally I was placed on a temp to perm assignment. The staff called me to make sure I was happy at my position and thankfully I was. Within a month I was placed! I would recommend this agency to anyone! more

AIM Personnel really AIM's to help you!!! It was the best experience I have had at a ""temp"" agency. They staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you step through the door. I had just lost my job, my resume had not been updated and it really did not represent my qualifications. AIM assisted me with my resume, offering a format and tips. That resume landed me the interview!!! I liked the personal touch of meeting with someone right away. I felt like I was not just a number being sent out on assignments that I was not interested in or qualified to do. more
