Affordable Self Storage is an Exceptional storage facility! Maggie the site manager makes a person, me in this case, feel like a true friend. I have stored here since August 28, 2002 and my experience at the facilty is one hundred percent totally and completely positive. I feel Maggie deserves a salary of a quarter Million dollars a year. She is that good! You should hire people just like her. She is one in a Million. all the Staff here are a pleasure to work with - they are always happy to help and I feel like the facility is always under control. I have to go to my storage everyday for my business pick ups and deliveries and the staff always takes care of my products. The storage facility is easy to get to and kept very clean. And has 24 hour access I know my stuff is safe here! I have kept my things Affordable Storage for 4 years while I traveled and stayed in small apartments. I just recently took them out because I have moved into a house with a very large basement. I was glad that they had just the right space for me -- 8x10 -- I had a Queen size bedroom set with shelves and about two dozen boxes + a sofa a love seat. I paid only $50 the first month. and $100 a month after that and me rate has never gone up in 4 years Parking was never a problem and I was also able to go there on public transport when I only needed to bring/store a few things. I felt very safe there and left my laptop and violin there for many months. The staff was great. They were very helpful with all my little requests, such as allowing my mom access to my things in case anything happened to me while traveling and cutting my lock (It never used to happen, then I lost my keys . While the facility itself is well-maintained, the management lacks integrity. I had an *extremely* unpleasant interaction with the owner in which he withheld my security deposit, offered false justifications for doing so and ultimately hung up on me. When I called back, he lied about having hung up on me (first claiming that he had appropriately concluded the conversation by saying "goodbye", then asserting that I had hung up first). I encourage you to take your business to another storage facility whose ownership values fairness. more
