My husband and I purchased tickets for the Dallas Mavericks vs. Utah Jazz NBA game on January 27, 2012 at the American Airlines Center. We received the tickets weeks before the game, and were excited since this game would be my husband?s birthday present. Upon arrival at the AA Center, we scanned our tickets at the door and went in to find our seats, which were in section 113, Row C. When we found them, some people were already sitting in them, so we called over the AA center attendant, named Sally, and asked her to tell them to move. She discovered that those people had the SAME tickets we did, and she said that since they had arrived first, we would simply have to contact our ticket provider to figure out what was going on. We did not know what to do, so, infuriated, we left, planning to call Advantage Tickets during their business hours. When I called first thing Monday morning, the Advantage Tickets employee told me that indeed, there was a mistake in the AA center system and we should not have even been let in the door. He said he would call back when they figured out what they were going to do about getting our money back. Later that evening, he called, saying ?he was sorry,? and ?there was nothing they could do!? I had spent $480 on these tickets, and they would do nothing to make the situation right. DO NOT buy tickets from this company, unless you want to be out tons of money with nothing to show for it, nor any assistance from this awful company.
