Active Bodez

Fact is before I started working out at Health Fitness Designs, now Active Bodez, 8 years ago, I was in sad shape. Really, it's true I wasn't very strong or flexible. The great news is that within a few months of working hard I improved my strength and flexibility by 150%. That impressed me! I've been exercising 2 x a week for years. It's become a habit, like brushing my teeth. Scott and I are a great team and he's always challenging me. He really cares about everyone and the proof is in the results. Active Bodez is a great fitness center! Scott, the owner and personal trainer, is knowledgeable, highly skilled and a great coach for adults of all ages, including not-so-young adults like me. At another fitness center I tried several years ago, no one seemed to notice whether I was there or not. Not so at Active Bodez! When you have to miss, Scott wants to know. Also, if you have a medical condition which limits what you can do, he adjusts your work-out plan to accommodate your limitations. His interest and concern and the care which he takes to make sure work-outs are safe mean a lot. I began working out at Active Bodez nine months ago on the recommendation of a friend. With Scott's direction and encouragement, I have seen significant improvements in my overall health and fitness, more than I would have imagined nine months ago. Active Bodez is a small gym with Trainers who care about you. The Trainers there have college degrees in this field. They know what people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels need to move to the next level. more

Active Bodez is the first fitness center at which I have been active for more than a few months. Now I have been working out at Active Bodez regularly for a year and a half. I like my workout time and enjoy chatting with the regulars. It is very much a family atmosphere. I always feel great after my workouts and look forward to going back. Scott, the owner, is a true professional who has been in the business many years. He uses methods and machines that help build our strength and endurance gradually and safely. I never worry about having an injury because Scott watches closely to see that we are doing the exercises properly. He also helps us with our diet and with health concerns. The personnel at Active Bodez, especially Scott, the owner, help make exercising more enjoyable. You get personal attention and I have rarely had to wait to use equipment. What is more important is that the environment is non-intimidating and geared to help people like me who don't really like to exercise to have a sense of purpose with exercise make exercise a part of their regular routine. With the intimate setting, I have met a number of people and we all feel comfortable and part of a family. Some team activities also help to get to know others.
