I agree, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The Colorado Springs Better Business Bureau has received 173 complaints in the last 3 years and gives the business an "F."\r Action Appliance showed up to fix my microwave without the basic tool required, even though I had told them specifically the tool that was required and they assured me they would bring it. Instead, the repairman showed up four hours late, looked at the oven and said, "I don't have that tool on the truck." They wanted to charge me $55 for the "service" call, and another $100 or so to come back the next day with the proper tool. I said not thanks, but they sent me a bill anyway. When I called to explain that they had not performed ANY service, they were completely unreasonable and insisted I owed them $55 because the repairman came out and "assessed" the problem. They then sent the bill to a collection agency. These people simply have no concept of how to run a business or build a reputation for quality. more

DO NOT USE this company. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau.  I am in the Kansas City area and they told me they were a local company over the phone, but come to find out, they just have one service tech in the Kansas City area. He showed up an hour late with passenger in his vehicle who waited in the driveway the whole time. I paid the overpriced charge in advance and now, over 2 months and $600 later, my dishwasher is still broken. The company refuses to refund any of my money. They have over 150 complaints with the Better Business Bureau and have multiple listings under similar names/addresses with BBB as well as consumer review sites including this one! more

Action Appliance deceptively asks customers to sign an electronic device in order to receive permission to inspect broken appliances. They charge $50 for the inspection and estimate. If, however, you choose not to use their repair services and buy/install the needed part on your own or get a better deal elsewhere, they charge a 25% cancellation fee on the service. They inform you that the electronic signature was not only to inspect the appliance but also to force the 25% fee if you don't go with their estimate. ACTION appliance's coercive, deceptive, and non-transparent practices should deter all customers from using them. Since we can't trust them, we have informed all CO Springs real estate managers to avoid using their services. more

I thought the service was excellent. Not sure on the price. Seemed reasonable. I would use them again. more

Our oven repair turned into a nightmare with Action Appliance. They came out, charged us $300, and then discovered that they had misdiagnosed the problem! The tech tried to bully my wife into an additional $500 repair on an old oven, and the company refuses to refund any of the money from their mistaken repair. So, we spent $300 on an oven that still doesn't work. I wish we had never called Action Appliance. their behavior has been despicable. more

This company replaced a part that was not broken. The charge for the part was over 100% of suggested retail price (just for the part.) The customer service rep in Denver (the location you have to deal with if there is a problem) was belligerent and ignorant. I would never use these guys again and believe they are a parts-selling con scheme. more
