Acco Management Co

When we moved out from Acco management apartment after 6 months of stay, they sent us a bill for over $1000 and sent letter to pay after keeping the $650 deposit for bogus charges and bogus bills. We took very good care of the apartment and left it very clean and nice. But these crooks and criminals at Acco management charged us for carpet cleaning, blinds clenaing, bathtub repair for no damage, new linoleum in kitchen when there were no holes or damage, small painting hole in the wall and furniture markings on walls which are all considered normal wear and tear.. more

I moved in to parkwood apartments which is managed by the evil corporation of Acco management company. They deducted my entire deposit money even when i left my apartments in a very good condition. They justify the expense with fake receipts and Clauses just to keep your money. Communicating with them is the worst experience and i feel helpless now to get my money back. Please do not move-in to any apartments managed by this Ecil corporation. They also manage Village Green Apartments in cupertino. JUST Stay away from them. Below is my review for parkwood apartments. Moving in to this apartment was the worst mistake of my life !!!! Here are the points to remember if you do decide to move-in. 1. Walls are paper thin - You can hear everything in your neighbour's apartment. No Privacy at all. 2. Filled with all kind of BUGS !!! 3. Deposit Money thieves - Say goodbye to your deposit money as you are not going to get any. I left my apartment in a very good condition, still they charged the entire money for cleaning, carpet cleaning, painting...repair some blah blah. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY BACK. AGAIN. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY BACK. I HOPE YOU LISTEN TO ME AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT. more

No matter how you clean your apartment. They will rip off all of your deposit if not more. We spent two days to clean our apartment and it is even better than we moved in, but they still charge ridiculously cleaning and painting cost. I rather worked for them as it should be very high paid job based on the hour rate. This is the worst management I ever deal with. more

We got overcharged a total charge of $1800. They said they were replaced the carpert and deep cleaning. I would like to know your advice? more

I too just received a bill from ACCO Management after living at Cypress Point apartments for just over a year. I received bogus charges and I will be taking them to small claims court. Anyone else needing to go to small claims court should print out these reviews and take them with you. Report them to the Department of Real Estate too! more

We applied to rent from them and paid our application fee (non-refundable) and a $650 deposit we were told was refundable. Then we saw the horrible reviews of the company and changed our minds. The manager told us we'd be refunded our deposit. We waited two weeks, called the manager again, who assured us we'd be refunded. Cons: Dishonest in the extreme more

we recently moved out after living 2 years and they simply overcharged and took all our security deposit plus sent and invoice asking for more money to change carpet,which is really unfair,We never did any major damage ,just cleanning has to be done and we are totally angry on their unfair action.Horrible,heartless management.They have charged us around $1000Absolutely ridiculous. I was over charged too and received some bogus receipt that was printed before I moved out and one hand-written receipt on which the phone number is disconnected! I am in the process of small court claim now. more

I left my apartment very CLEAN and there were no damages at all!! I don't understand why they would do this to their former tenants. I would not recommend doing business with them. How did they get 4 stars if 3 reviews in here are one star? We will end up in small claims court too! I would like to contact those people having problems with this managment company! We could do better together! We have suspicious invoices overcharging us 3 times the deposit based on Acco managers filled out invoice for another company! Well have to go long road! If you want to get ripped off, do business with ACCO Management Company. They are extremely unethical and only want your money, doesn't matter what it takes. Cons: unethical, liars more

This management company would prefer to litigate than pay a debt it owes. This misquote the California law, and do not take responsibility for property maintenance. more
