I was under ""corrective"" chiropractic care for over 7 years in another state before moving back to Texas. After several months of putting off finding another chiropractor, I did a lot of research and chose ALC. I know of other chiropractors that don't know how to read an x-ray, much less explain it, and I wouldn't want anyone like that adjusting the most important area of my body. \r \r As I said, I was under care for several years and when I saw my initial X-Rays with ALC, I cried. I thought I had wasted several years of chiropractic care because my spine looked worse than before I ever started. After 3 months of adjustments with ALC, my spine is in better condition than 7 years of care with another chiropractor. \r \r In regards to others feeling like they were ""cattle"": when you need to ask the doctors anything about medications, treatment, diet or exercise plan, they take the time to answer your questions. I have never had an issue with them not answering my questions. They do move people through quickly, but I also appreciate that since I drive 30-45 min each way to get an adjustment. \r \r In regards to other's financial statements: I paid out of pocket for my previous chiropractic care, as it was explained to me how insurance works with various chiropractic codes, and I was not opposed to paying out of pocket for Dr. Zaino. Additionally, many insurance based chiropractors provide unnecessary treatment only to pad your insurance claim because insurance pays the doctors so little for each office visit. They ask that your family comes to the report of findings so they understand why you need to make the investment in your health. That's what this is, an investment in your health. If you don't care about your health. then maybe ALC isn't the place for you. \r \r Ultimately, I would and have referred ALC to others and I think they do a wonderful job in explaining the plan of care, why you need various treatments and they do care about your health and helping you to get to the best health possible.\r \r more

Abundant Life Chiropractic has made a huge improvement in my family's life! Earlier this year, I was having terrible vertigo. I happened to hear about Dr. Zaino curing a friend's mother's vertigo. I quickly went in for an evaluation and found that the problem was that the nerves to my inner ear were cut off by my spinal misalignment. I was better within a few visits and now continue to go for my general health and well-being. Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable people. I come out of each adjustment feeling like a million bucks! I have been going to Abundant Life for almost 2 months now. Before that I had accepted as reality that my pains and aches were due to hitting the BIG 50. I moaned and groaned anytime I moved and I had aches and pains that limited my mobility. Hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands all ached and I was taking several anti-inflammatory drugs and creams. Just getting in and out of the car was difficult. Being able to grasp items or clench my fist was a herculean task. But now, I am pain free and my mobility has improved dramatically. Chiro care is not an instant cure but it is a process that you must commit to. I have and I am much happier. I am starting an exercise plan that I previously thought was a pipe dream. Freedom of movement is not something I will take for granted anymore. more

I am so grateful that I found Abundant Life. I had back surgery many years ago and my spine has been a big concern for me. What I appreciate most about this office is that they sat me down and taught me how to take responsibility for my health by taking care of my spine and nervous system. The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring enough to challenge you to continually get better. The staff is very helpful and organized and I always look forward to seeing them when I go in. As a result of care in this office my spine has corrected almost to a normal position and I'm able to do everything and anything I want to. My husband and I started seeing Dr Zaino about 8 months ago. Previously, my husband had been informed that he could never run again by a different Dr. After learning more from Dr Z about corrective chiropractic care, he told my husband that he could do whatever he wanted, and that running was definitely in the equation. I haven't seen my husband emotional, but he cried cause he was so relieved and happy to have a piece of his life back that he enjoyed so much. I heard Dr. Zaino give a talk in Jan. 2012 and what he said makes sense. I chose to go to his office and have x-rays done because I was having many headaches a week and had since I'd had a horrible car accident in 1979. I'd been to see neurologists, various other doctors, acupuncturists, homeopathic people, I mean everyone. No one helped up until I started seeing Dr. Zaino several times a week. Since Feb. 2012 (and it's now Nov. 2013) I've had 7 headaches and most of those were stress induced - built a house and sold our home in The Woodlands. Before I started seeing Dr. Zaino, I'd have 7 headaches in 10 days!!!! I've not had a cold or any other major illness - and I had always had an allergy/cold twice a year.\r \r His office staff are warm and friendly - it's a joy to walk in the door. Dr. Zaino has a unique business model that may put some folks off. I find it refreshing and easy. They truly care about ME and they know me. \r \r Dr. Zaino is continually researching and learning about healthy living and passes on the information in fun ""talks"" either on his in office TV or in his monthly ""seminars"". I trust the information he gives and I know it's for my benefit. \r \r I drive from west of Huntsville at least once a week for an adjustment (it's over 100 miles round trip). It's worth EVERY PENNY I've ever spent and will continue as long as he's in business, or opens an office in Huntsville!!!! more

You got to go the ALC and see Dr. Zaino and his team! My wife, Cindy and I have been going 3 days a week for 6 months, I feel great and healthy and Cindy is getting there and I know with Dr. Z's help, she will get back her mobility stollen from her by MS, just taking a little longer than me, great services. more

I began treatment at this place in July of 2012 after sitting through a convincing sales pitch. I was skeptical but so hopeful that my back pain would get better. After $3400 and 6 months of treatment that was supposed to be guaranteed they were asking for more money. I declined. When I went back for an adjustment 3 months later they told me I had to have an X-Ray first ($58). Excuse me?! I spent how much and you again want more money. Do you want my business or not? An X-ray is not needed; things do not change drastically over 3 months. This institution hides behind Christianity for business purposes and social community benefit. I could go on and on about this place but hopefully this helps. Do yourself a favor and find another place to spend your hard earned money. more

Since seeing Dr Zaino I no longer have migraine headaches or sinus infections every month. He took the time to explain what was causing my condition and then went about correcting it. I have been a patient with Dr. Zaino for years and he has helped me to be the healthiest I've ever been. I recommend him to everyone. more

Dr. Zaino really transformed my life and my husband’s life. I used to suffer from weekly migraine headaches and severe allergies. Since I’ve been in treatment with Dr. Zaino I am symptom free! My husband actually had a stroke in November 2011, he began his treatment with Dr. Zaino 5 days after his stroke. He had been told he would have to take pills for the rest of his life and the odds of life were really not in his favor. Patients are encouraged to bring lists of friends, family, co-workers... so they can be cured of all the ""unknown"" diseases they have and then you can be a ""hero"". Where are the case studies of patients with before and after medical documentation and then the chiropractic result. Where are the peer reviewed articles in scientific journals? There are none. This place delivers a placebo effect to many people who follow this practice like lemmings. Dr. Zaino can be found on YouTube endorsing his many marketing products. Maximum Living Vitamins, Beyond Organics Food, Billing Precision Accounting for chiropractors, and he has his hand in the development of the ""live vibe"" machine patients stand on in the office to ""vibrate"" their bodies. Most of the above have documentation as pyramid schemes. His practice is ""cash only"". He makes over $3 million per year at this ""cash only"" business according to articles on the internet. Ive been seeing Dr. Zaino after a friend told me about him. I am completely off of my blood pressure meds!!! So much for needing them for the rest of my life! I feel like Im 20 years younger in just 2 months of treatment. more

The system at Abundant Life Chiropractic works to get people well. Not only did my pain go away, but the essentials taught in the office have caused my whole entire life to change. Every month Dr. Zaino does a FREE workshop for all of his patients and our friends on topics ranging from nutrition to raising healthy children. He even has recipe nights for us to try the different foods he recommends. It's amazing to know that my whole family will be healthy for many years to come. I'm not sure what misinformation cassidy had, but payment plans are available, which definitely helps make care affordable in the office. All the effort and education to the patients and community from the doctors and staff is designed to not get people out of pain but to heal the individual by setting them free from victimized mind sets, poor health, and hopelessness. My wife and I first started coming to Abundant Life Chiropractic because she was suffering from frequent, debilitating migraines and I was having stomach issues. During our first visit, one of the Abundant Life chiropractors explained how misalignments of the spine (subluxations) can disrupt, degrade, or destroy a person’s overall health. In fact, Abundant Life was where I first learned what health really is. We both had X-rays taken so that the doctors could identify the locations of any spinal misalignments. We returned the following night to learn more about how corrective care can restore an individual to optimal health, and how the American medical system has failed miserably. My wife and I were then taken into one of the exam rooms, where we were able to see exactly where our spines were damaged and how that misalignments were choking off nerve supply to our vital organs, as well as causing considerable pain and discomfort. The evidence was black and white and the X-rays spoke for themselves. We decided to become patients, because everything simply made sense and we believed the chiropractors of Abundant Life could correct the problems with our spines. My life was going down. I was like the woman with the issue of blood. I was going from doctor to doctor, having test after test, and I was getting nothing better but worse. I had Crohn's Disease and the 'medical' doctors told me that there was no cure, I would be on drugs and medication for the rest of my life, and eventually I would need surgery. i really didnt have a life anymore. It hurt even pick up my son. The doctors told me that I could either take pain pills or do a surgery to fix by back and really didnt want that. One of my friends told me about Dr. Zaino and I went to see him. When I went everyone was really nice answering my questions without all the medical lingo. They set an appointment for me to meet Dr Zaino the next day. Went back and Dr. Zaino did a 45 min talk showing what normal and abnormal xrays looked like, he described people he had worked with and the results they got. When I met with him he was able to show me what the problems in my spine were and what he was going to do to correct them, how long it would take and what I would need to do. They went over everything with me about time money everything before I started the treatment. I decided to do the treatment and couldnt be more pleased with the results. Been doing treatment with Dr Zaino now about six months and can say I am pain free for the first time in a long time. So very glad my friend told me about him.
