Not Bad 2/1/2011

Food is excellent but dinner is a bit pricey. Service is very good and food quality is excellent. Chips and hot sauce are excellent and weekends a wait is expected. more

Great Mexican Restaurants 6/13/2008

It has not been to long since we ate at Abuelo's and every time we go we are treated well and services is excellent. We tell all are family and friends who are not from around here to always try this restaurant and that they will not be disappointed. more

Best in Lubbock 6/8/2008

I really love this place! It's got a great courtyard atmosphere for ambience. The food here is fabulous, with big portions. Just about all of their enchilada selections are out of this world. They also have the most wonderful steak fajitas and tacos that you'll ever sink your teeth into. When the chips are brought to my table, they are always consistently hot and fresh. Come on over! more

EXCELLENT MEXICAN RESTAURANT 4/10/2005

Obuelo's is an excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. I go there all the time when I want a really good meal. They have a huge selection and a very good atmosphere to go along with it. The restaurant has a bar area and an outside patio which is an excellent choice for when the weather is nice. Prices are very reasonable as well. more
