Abc Driving School

I'm an adult who had some limited driving experience but lacked confidence. My instructor Luann was an angel. Her expertise is bar none. She has the gift of imparting skill and confidence with instruction, direction, support and reinforcement. She made something I feared into something fun that I looked forward to from the first real moment behind the wheel. TA to you Luann, passed just after 4 lessons on first attempt!! more

Okay, this is my first time writting a review. I simply felt that I had to give some feedback for this school becuase they completely changed my life, not kidding!\r \r I was afraid of driving due a car accident that a close family member got into and had been terrified of driving ever since. \r \r Being 22 years old and realizing I would have to get over this, I contacted this school and was suprisingly at ease as soon as my first class started.\r \r The driving instructor (Luanne) is VERY professional, VERY understandable, and VERY patient. If you are nervous about getting on the road DO NOT hesitate to take classes here.\r \r Now am I driving to work and back, with a Valid TX DL!! Thank you Luanne!!!!!!\r \r <3 more

My teenager completed the classroom part at a school and we had intended to do the behind the wheel part ourselves. We found it difficult to get the hours in and we were not sure if we were teaching the stuff properly. This summer we contacted ABC Driving School and for $335 they would provide the 14 hours behind the wheel instruction and avoid her having to sit the DPS driving exam when she turned 16. After Sept 5 '09 everyone has to sit the exam. Doug was her instructor for all her lessons which was great. He was a fabulous instructor, he gave great tips and tons of advice that we did not know, gave her confidence and had her driving downtown and on IH35 within a few lessons. It was obvious that he really wanted the teens to be safe on the roads. The lessons were all scheduled within 2 weeks which was a huge bonus, it got her up to a point of being able to drive safely with us anywhere. Lana the lady that does the office side was also very nice. They do the classroom part also. I was apprehensive about spending $335 on something I could potentially do myself but it was easily worth it. Highly recommended. Pros: Excellent teaching, Completed lessons all within 2 weeks more
