After having several quotes I chose AGS because of the service and quality. They fully explained the different prices between their product, their competition, and others. Corey was polite and easy to work with and when he and his partner showed up the next day to install the door it was a pleasure to watch them work. It only took a little over an hour and they cleaned their mess, hauled off the old door and all it's parts and all the packaging. I highly recommend AGS to anyone needing garage door work. more

Totally recommends AGS (A Garage Door Service) for repair. We got about half a dozen or so quotes but none of the companies compare to the straight forward quote we got from Dave or Korey. Charged exactly what we were quoted over the phone to replace two garage door springs. Did not try to sell any other parts nor services that were not needed. Will use this company again when we get into another garage door issue. more

Showed up when they said they would, not only fixed my opener but fixed the problem that caused my opener to break and didn't charge me extra. Just said it's all part of fixing the opener. I'm glad I called them and will call again in the future when I need garage door services. more

We had a broken spring and called around. Got prices on the phone as low as $44 for repair. Unfortunately AGS was not the first company we had out, we went with the cheapest. They claimed $44 but then got there and said it would be over $350! So we said no and sent them on their way. Had another company come out that said it would be $129, When they got there he said it would be over $600 because we needed a tune up and a new this and that! Then we had AGS come out. Their price over the phone was higher than the other two, but when they showed up it was still the same, when they were done it was still the same and when I wrote the check it was still the same!! Don't waste your time with the other ones that play pricing games. I will only use AGS for all of my garage door needs from now on. more

My house is in The Colony and I called these guys yesterday (Saturday) around 10 am. They had someone out to fix my broken spring by 1:30. He was in and out in 30 minutes. Cleaned up all of his mess and charged exactly what he quoted over the phone. He did recommend new rollers and sold them to me for less than what I could get them at home depot (I checked!). Very professional and honest that is hard to find in contractors these days. Highly recommend them. more

Good: I really like the way the company as a whole handled thereselves. Very professional and extremely easy to talk too. In addition, they were very patient in explaining to me the work that needed to be done to my gardage door and how much the charge was before they ever started.. I don't normally take the time to rate companies, just too lazy, but this company got my attention. Had a broken spring last night, on new years eve and needed my car out to go to a NYE party. This guy was there in about 20 minutes, had the door open and fixed within an hour and I was off and on my way. Could tell I pulled him away from his own party, but he did it anyway and didn't charge extra just said "I do what it takes to make my customer's happy". AGS has a customer for life with me. Guys showed up on time, were clean, very polite and professional. I ran into my garage door with my SUV and they were able to fix the rails and replace the bottom part with no problems. They had to completely replace the opener because I bent it up real bad. My neighbors garage door was also not going up all the way and while they were here he came and asked them what they would charge to fix it. One went over and fixed it in about 3 minutes and didn't even charge him. Over all I was very satisfied with these garage door guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs garage door service. more
