My keychain remote is a must-have! Arming/disarming is done with one button. It's great when my hands are full! I also keep it by my bed at night in case I need the panic button - best benefit in my opinion more

was an adt customer for 17 yrs. I paid my monthly service plus a $6.00 service fee. My system required service three times in seventeen years. The last time I was told that the equipment was out dated and could not be serviced. The equipment would have to be replaced at a cost of over $300.00. Because I was an adt customer I did not qualify for any promotions or discounts. This is company policy. In seventeen years I paid them $1,224.00 in service fees and $8,000.00 in monitoring fees for a total of $9,180. I guess new customers are more important then old ones. I have changed to Brinks Home Security. New and better equipment and a better monthly rate. Free instalation and a $10.00 a month savings over adt. Please look hard at adt before signing a contract. more

Yes there were a few problems with false alarms at first and a dead battery after 3 weeks that was supposed to last 5 years, but once all that was worked out things have been great. The cost actually wasn't bad for all the large numbers of motion detectors, door, and window things we had them install. I actually love having it and find it really easy to use. \r \r more
