PLEASE don't let the reasonable $68.00 trip charge suck you in, because once they are there the fee's they charged us are at least 5 to 6 times what a normal charge would have been from another Bee Removal Company!! But you don't know that until the end of the job!! I was invaded by a swarm of bees in my tree and they did agree to get them but 3,000 dollars later I am left speechless! Do your research don't get burned like we did. Everytime I asked about fee's and how much was this going to cost the answer was I don't know I'll have to see. They aren't an honest company and they try to hide the fees from you! If they would have been forthright in what the charges were over the phone I would have NEVER in a thousand years had them come to my home. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF !! more

On August 3rd of 2011 Abee's came to my house due to a problem that I had with wasps, which had inhabited my fireplace. When the technician arrived he refused to inspect my fireplace because he believed it to be unlikely that wasps would be in my fireplace. The technician was here for about 20 minutes and then I was given a $230.00 bill, to my obvious surprise. I paid the $68.00 trip fee but disputed the remaining balance because my problem was not only not fixed but it was never even inspected. The following day I had Augustine Exterminators (a very reputable extermination company) come inspect the fireplace for a wasp's nest and low and behold they did in fact find a wasp's nest in the fireplace. I tried for 6 months to contact Abee's via email and telephone about my remaining balance to which I received no response. Then this February I received a bill for the total amount of my bill plus additional fees for not paying within 10 days. I immediately contacted Abee's and was again met with the response that they could not be reached by phone but only via email. Eventually, through several long emails Abee's agreed to only bill me for the remaining balance ($134.00) and not the additional fees. I have paid the $134.00 only because I am exhausted from the fighting. However, I am disappointed in myself that I was bullied by a company into paying for a service that was not only insufficient, but ineffective. And, what is most unfortunate is that now I feel I must be wary of all small businesses. My hope is that this complaint helps other consumers to avoid this business at all cost; for reasons that are not limited to but include, their inefficiency, their lack of communication, their unfair market prices and abhorrent customer service. more

After discovering a 3 ft snake on our porch one night, and that animal control wasn't available after 5 p.m., we called this company. It was the WORST mistake I've ever made. I paid $300 to have 3 large glue traps (similar to the mouse traps you buy at the local hardware store) placed around my house. Since the traps were exposed, they were almost instantly ruined when a few birds made the unfortunate mistake of landing on them. When we called the company regarding the fact we had not caught the snake due to the inefficient traps we were given, the rep was rude and threatened to charge us more. I have never had such an awful experience with a company. I can only hope I can prevent someone else from making this same mistake. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!! more

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! They told me it would cost $400.00 and once they started it, the amount changed. They also told me they would caulk where the honey bees where getting in, and they DID NOT. They said it would have to be another trip which they want to charge me over $175.00 for the follow up. F rating with Business Bureau and it took them 5 days to come out once I made the initial call. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMENED THIS COMPANY nor would I GO BACK! Fighting with the owners now for some type of refund or something to make situation right, but they won't call back......BEWARE!!!!! more

Unfortunately,we didn't do our research and got burned by this company.They have an F rating with the BBB.They totally overcharged for a job that wasn't even done right.We had to call several other beekeepers and they all said a-bee's is a fraudulent company.After complaining to them about their service,they just stopped answering my calls.I finally fixed the problem myself for around $20,they wanted over $800 more
