I had an hard time trying to find computer training in Los Angeles, I have looked around and a lot of the schools offer very generic training and they are definitely overpriced.

I was very disappointed with the quality of instruction. I paid for CCNA and CCNP training in full but only took the CCNA course. I withdrew from the CCNP course before a class ha...

ABCO is a good place to learn. 10/22/2009

My web page was getting no visitors. I called two search engine firms and got a bunch of bull. Figured the only thing I could do was to learn it my self. Craig?s list took me to a school called ABCO Technology. At first they wanted me to learn web pages, but I convinced them that search engines was my thing. They had a 40 hour course taught by George Castaneda. The equipment wasn?t the greatest, but I learned a lot. George had put five pages on the first page of Google for some pretty good terms. We took a lot of notes and the course ended. My pages are moving up. Web site traffic has increased from 5 visitors per day to 150. Search engines are a lot of work, but it is worth it. If you have a small business and can?t afford to hire a SEO guy, ABCO is a good do it yourself place to learn. Pros: ABCO is a good place to learn. more

If you want to learn ABCO will teach you 10/20/2009

The government sent me to ABCO. At first I didn?t like this idea because I wanted to go to UCLA, but the Workforce program had only two approved schools, which ABCO was one. This school kind of grows on you. When you visit the campus, you think, this is not a rich school. When the classes started, my ideas changed. I signed up for networking and to my surprise I really learned a lot. Arif, the instructor has worked in many companies. He told us stories about things that happened to him on the job. Another instructor Fred, taught us how to troubleshoot a computer. Well nine months later I got my certifications. The LAUSD had a position, which I received. It is less money than my former job, but food is now on the table. ABCO is fine and if you want to learn they can teach you.Ron Jackson Pros: experienced instructors more

One day boot camp at ABCO 10/20/2009

I only went to ABCO Technology for one day to learn how to make XML sitemaps. The books I?ve been reading say XML sitemaps are excellent for alerting Google and Bing to webpage changes. Fatima knew XML. She spent over 2 hours teaching me how to use XML and upload it to a server. I am grateful for her instruction. If you have a website and want to learn how to work a program for it, ABCO Technology is a good school to attend. Pros: good place to learn with hands on training more

ABCO Technology Excellent Computer Training 10/19/2009

I signed up for the CIW class at abco. I was reluctant seeing all the good and bad reviews and I must tell you amazing training and don't read all these reviews becausae people out here sometimes confuse. Good Learning Experience 7/30/2009

In 2009 my father insisted that a career as a database administrator was right for me. I knew this was not for me. He signed me up at ABCO Technology. After 3 classes I knew this was not what I wanted. I asked them for a refund. Fatima told me the economy was bad, but they would pay my father as soon as they got the money. It took them 30 days to pay, but they paid my dad in full with two payments. I hate computers, but bad reports about refunds from ABCO is not true. This didn?t happen to me. good school 7/29/2009

I am currently enrolled at ABCO Technology in the MCSD program. After completing C# and Microsoft Visual Studio I wanted to comment on my training. So far the teaching has been excellent. Our instructor is a certified Microsoft trainer and works for a large company as a solutions developer. His on-the-job experiences are inspiring. ABCO doesn?t have the best equipment, but everything works. We have single assignments, group projects, and two of the students have found internships. I am still looking for mine. The staff at ABCO cares for the students. Fatima is constantly talking about resumes and how they should be written. Sometimes I wish she would shut up. great computer school i love it 7/29/2009

Words cannot express my personal appreciation to you and your staff for your fine hospitality and a most educationally profitable semestres. I was particularly impressed not only with the exceptional resources which you and your staff have at their disposal, but also what you have done with the resources in service to young people. As a student at Abco Technology School it has been so much fun and informative. I didn't think that coming to this school would help me understand more about computer technology, but it has made me care more about a career Mr Arif Sayed - Ms Fatima are a very good Instructors Ms Fatima has taught me all the knowledge I want to know. I like being in her class because she makes it fun and at the same time very interesting, she is very dedicated to her students and every time I have a question she is willing to answer. All of the things I learn in this school I will try to perfect them. Some of the things I tried to do in this class were done with a lot of effort I know that practice makes perfect. instuctor Fatima has also thought me not to give up keep on trying and you will succeed in your career, on top of that she let me to make a repetition of the courses until she let me grasp it clearly. My experience 7/29/2009

I am a single mother with two children, and a person with no college education. I enrolled at ABCO Technology to learn how to design web pages. The school arranged my training so I could learn at times when my children were in school. Fatima personally taught me HTML, PHP, and Flash. In February of 2009 I passed my final CIW exam. Arif helped me build a portfolio. I have a growing business and what is most important to me my children have a mother at home to look after them. The people at ABCO cared about my needs. They arranged for a payment plan that I could afford. When I was late, they worked with me. ABCO was a great school for me. ABCO Technology provide great computer training services 7/29/2009

My experience with ABCO technology has a been good. I'm currently enrolled in the MCSE courses offered by ABCO. I have completed three of the seven courses and tested/passed two of my exams (about to take my third test). ABCO Technology has provided me with the necessary in class training and out of class study materials needed to obtain my goal of MCSE certification. In addition, the out of class training you offer to everyone for additional training (if needed) is greatly appreciated and another added bonus in helping me pass my exams. With ABCO's experienced instructor's, pass guarantee, and course material (to study at home), I'm confident I will obtain my goal. Bad School Bad Training Bad Practices 4/16/2009

I was very disappointed with the quality of instruction. I paid for CCNA and CCNP training in full but only took the CCNA course. I withdrew from the CCNP course before a class had even been formed and have been struggling with getting my money back ever since. I have been issued some money but had one check bounce. Beware of companies that don't honor their financial commitments. Pros: None worth Cons: Poor Instruction, Bad finacial practices. more

Because of this school I was able to start my own web design company and I am currently designing websites for few companies. True picture of abco, i know its a place where u can learn if you want to. 11/27/2008

I am currently a student at ABCO and I just saw this review. I just want to say that ABCO is a small school and so it has its ups and downs, but I am currently a student there and I am really learning a lot of stuff there. They are not your sophisticated school but then they also don't charge too much and you can get to people more easily. I personally feel that if you are a student who is interested in learning than looking at decorations than i think you shoud go check them out and if you run into issues, work with them talk to them, they will really take care of it and you'll come out ahead like i and few of my friends are getting. So dont' look at the positive but if you want to learn more with a personal touch go ahead and go to abco. By the way I'm a veteran returning from Iraq and I know how abco helped me out.
