Very Professional 6/10/2011

Thanks to AAMCO my car is running well again. They were able to take my car in right away, and even got me out of there early. I appreciate the effort they put into getting me onto the road again as soon as possible. I have already recommended AAMCO to many friends, and I will continue to do so :) more

I've been a few times with different ailments for all my cars. I doubt I will go anywhere else after all the great service they have given me. The service is great! I have used Aamco's all over the south over the years and I do think they and Precision Tune are the best. more

Do NOT go there! 2/27/2011

I wish I could give them zero stars, because that's what they deserve. You will be incredibly sorry and incredibly broke if you take your car to the Athens AAMCO. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! I would not suggest you take it to any other AAMCO either really because while they do offer a nationwide warranty, each AAMCO is independently owned and operated. Also, they will not help you unless the location you originally had it serviced at is willing to take on the cost of repairs being done under warranty at locations besides their own. more

WORST PLACE I'VE EVER TAKEN MY CAR TO!!! 12/3/2010

I took my car in for transmission problems...they said I needed a completely rebuilt transmission. 6500.00 later, my car was back in the shop because, you guessed it, the transmission went out again. It was under warranty but it took them 2 months...I repeat, 2 months to put my new transmission in. I would call every few days asking the status of my car and Robbie, the supervisor, would get frustrated with my persistent calling (i know, I'm such a terrible person for wanting to know the status of my car thats been in the shop for months) and Robbie would hang up on me in mid sentence. Then, when he finally got my transmission in my car, you guessed it again...IT DIDNT WORK! They then had to take another few days because it had a leak in the transmission they just rebuilt. RIDICULOUS! Additionally, they wouldnt refund me the money I had to pay for rental cars and they wouldnt extend my warranty to the new transmission. This $#@&-hole of a place can burn to the ground with all their professional dousche baggs working in it. Never take your car here more
