@ koolsat. The DMV gave you your learner permit because you passed the computer test. I don't think that they even care if you even have a Indian license. The rule in India might be different from here. Same as state to state. If you were to go to a different state, you would need to renew or you might need to retake an exam to get the license. I have just gotten my license from A +. I could tell you, it's worth the money spent. Before taking the class, I have search several places, and they were all really expensive. Even though the instructor is a little hard to understand, he does his job really well!
