After several transactions with them I took the same items I used for a loan with them and received almost double than what they will give you. They will also tell you multiple it...

I first used A Cut Above for FFL transfers because they are very affordable. Once I stepped foot into the shop, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I was offered something to drink while I waited and I felt right at home. While I waited, I looked around the shop at the wide variety of items that they sell. The shop is in great condition, unlike some other pawn shops that I have been to. I ended up making a purchase while I was there and was very pleased with the price. The staff was great to talk to. I felt comfortable with them and had some great conversations. The FFL transfer was a breeze and they seemed just as interested in my new toys as I was. Will I go back? Hells yeah! I have another inbound transfer on its way. I'll be taking a little extra spending money as well. ;) more

Good to buy but go elswhere to pawn or sell 5/2/2009

After several transactions with them I took the same items I used for a loan with them and received almost double than what they will give you. They will also tell you multiple items can't be put on the same ticket, this way they double or triple or more, (depending on how many items you have) there loan fee's and setup fee's, where the other shops combined my items. Also, don't be late, even if you call forget it, 1 day late and it's gone. These guys want you 1 time and get the most from you they can, rather than build steady clientele. Look elsewhere before you sell. Pros: They can sell cheap Cons: because they pay out less than other pawns more

Great Service, Nice place, cool stuff 3/25/2009

Dave (owner) exceeded my expectations. The FFL transfer fee was less than most and the service was so good. My request for their license to be faxed to my distributor was handled both times within one hour. The staff is friendly and the store was clean, fun and full of great deals. I went in to process a handgun purchase and ended up also buying a rifle he had on sale. It was raining outside and he actually went into his stockroom and found me a case for the gun so it wouldn't get wet! Pros: Inexpensive FFL Transfer and great service more

All-around great place to deal with ! 12/16/2008

I have sold to, and bought from Dave and his crew at A cut Above Pawn. Unlike so many pawn shops, the store is neat, clean, and well organized, with nice quality merchandise. He and his staff are fair, knowledgeable, and efficient, not to mention just plain nice people. They have also done several firearms transfers for me for guns that I bought online. These transactions went very smoothly, and the price was right. Dave's FFL transfers are that rare thing, the best service for the lowest price. The best deal in Beaverton, good service and great value. Thanks, Dave ! more

Good bargains! 10/16/2007

This place is clean, well lit and the staff are curteous and friendly. Many other pawn shops are poorly lit, dingy, and feel unfriendly and look like they feed off of the stolen goods from thieves and the desperate. It's impossible to find any junk in this place, all the goods they sell are top notch for being used. I bought a T.V. set with remote that was clean as a bell for less than half of a new one. They are educated about E-Bay and know how to compete and remain in buisness. more
