Worst

On 5/14/10 they arrive to inform me that the drain pan is rusted and un-repairable, and they need to replace the pan. (Darn I was hoping for a new air handler.)

AC Mechanix did a great job replacing my AC unit. My dealing with the owner Brad Parish was very professional and courteous. His service was superb and the cost was very reasonable. Jonathan and Alex did the install and their work was exceptional. They answered all of my questions, did the complete install, and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier and can confidently recommend them for your next AC repair/replacement! more

A C Mechanix Rock 2/5/2011

These guys were awesome! We did a replacement of our outside unit, air handler, thermostat, wire, and pipes. They also did a duct cleaning and fixed a few messed up vents. I am extremely happy with the work they did. I would definately recommend AC Mechanix to my friends... (in fact, I did recommed them to a neighbor, and I think they will be replacing their AC as well.) more

Excellent total experience 1/5/2011

From the very begining, Brad was very informative about all the ins and outs of the new total system installation. With all the rebates involved, they handled the paperwork and made the filing process easy. More importantly, we got consumer reports #1 rated system for the guaranteed lowest price ( and we shopped ) ! Some suprises arose and they did not charge extra even though I expected to. Thank you very much again and I would recommend this company to all! P.S. AC mechanix has done plenty of service work on my rental properties in the past as well and have proven to be a 5 star company. more

Top Notch AC Company 1/4/2011

I took advantage of the tax rebates for replacing our AC and heating unit and AC Mechanix was one of the companies that we called for the job. Brad, the owner came out and gave us great insight in which AC and heating unit would be suit our home. We are pleased that we chose AC Mechanix for our replacement job since they have provided excellent customer service and made sure that we were completely satisfied with our choice. WE are pleased to finally find a AC company that we can TRUST and rely on when we need them. You are a person to them instead of a number. Keep up the good work AC Mechanix Heating & Air....... more

Great Company, Great People 1/1/2011

I have been dealing with ACMechanix for the past 7 years, and I am truely impressed with the company and it's personnel. Having once been an owner of a company, I know first hand what is important in dealing with a satisfied customer base. From Brad Paris, the owner, to all the employees I have dealth with, the company is professional, supportative, and responsive to it's customers. I just had a new Heating & Air Conditioner installed and the Job was done just as promised. On time, without problems. and the way they cleaned up after the work was finished was truely impressive. From Eric, the lead installer, Wayne, Brad's right hand man, to Jonas, a great Tec Rep, and everyone else involved, it was a positive experience. I can recomend this company, something that is not usually possible, with complete confidence and assurance that anyone would do well to use them to satisfy their requiremnts. more

Honest Review 10/27/2010

I recently had AC Mechanix out to do a system upgrade at my house. I must say, through the bidding/negotiating phases I really enjoyed dealing with Brad Parish (owner/president). Brad is easy to talk to and was willing to negotiate which eventually won ACM the deal. There are companies out there willing to offer deals right now and Brad had no problem stepping up to the plate and offering a simular package. more

Excellent Service & Professional! 8/11/2010

I have been working with A/C Mechanix for the last few years and they did an excellent job! Most recently my A/C went out in this hot heat! I knew it was time to replace my unit, and the owner Brad was kind enough to forwarn me but always fixed it for me. I get several bids adn Brad's was the best - He took the time and patience to show me the different units, and how the ratings work- no other company did that! He even came out to fix it temporarily for no charge! When it came time to replace it, he had his service men there as promised and they did an excellent job! I also had to replace the water heater and a small portion of my wall with mold and his tech worked very well with the other contractors. Brad came out and inspected it, called to follow up and gave me the most discounts I was not aware of from FPL and Rheem as well as the tax discount saving me almost $2,000! My new unit works awesome and Brad's company and service tech's are highly professional, clean up and I am very satisfied! I would not wast time with other companies, This man is a good man and a Christian as well - honest and hardworking! more

A/C Mechanix saved me! 7/21/2010

Had a well dressed uniformed technician with an ID badge actually show up at my door within an hour of making a call to this company. They did me right all the way around. Brad came out after I requested an estimate on replacing my system, he showed me that my outdoor A/C coil could be repaired after 3 other companies came out, stared at the unit and stated that it needed to be replaced. I now now have an honest A/C contractor! Pros: Within an hour of calling they were here. more

Great Service 5/22/2010

I live in Longwood, have been using this company for years, they have always been there for me. I have no knowledge of my cooling system so I have to trust what their technician tells me. I feel like they are on my side and not just coming out to sell me a new unit. I would recommend them to both family and freinds. I hope they read this so they will know how much that they are appreciated. Pros: Service technician was well dressed, polite and informitive. more

Don't get burned. Don't use AC Mechanix 5/10/2010

In November AC Mechanix did a complete repair and replacement of my Ac cooling system components to the tune of $482. The system failed in less than 5 months. They said ""they only offer a 30 day warrantee"" but they would be happy to charge me again for the same work that they didn't do correctly in the first place. They don't stand by their screw ups. I will never use them again. Don't get burned ! GO ELSEWHERE FOR AC WORK Pros: Good reviews but poor results Cons: They don't care about their customers more

More Businesses Should Be Run Like This 12/23/2009

My experience with this company was a breath of fresh air compare to some other air condition repair companies I've used in the past. Last month my air conditioner started leaking just before my family was coming for Thanksgiving. I called these guys and the girl on the phone was very helpful, and concerned that the leak would damage my hardwood floors, so she sent a guy out to my house that day (a Saturday). The technician was very thorough and respectful of my son napping in the next room. He even took the time to educate me a bit on why it happened and how different maintenance could prevent from happening again. The pricing was very reasonable and my home owners insurance covered the cost, but I would definitely go back to this company even if I had to pay out of pocket. Easy, Fast, Reliable 11/15/2008

Talk about improvement! I've had problems in the past with ac mechanix being rude and hard to schedule with. But I always use them because they have good prices and they can fix the problem. Well, I came home on Thursday and my compressor was making a horrible noise and I thought it was going to explode. Of course I was having a party on Saturday...so I called and got an appt fast, they came out and fixed it and I have air for my party today. Everyone was so nice, and they worked with my schedule. Found out that Deena (the snob who used to answer the phones ) doesn't work there anymore. They are all about customer service and making things right now. Seems like the economy goes bad and people realize they have to keep the customer happy. Ac Mechanix sure figured it out!!! Now they have great prices and great customer service. more

I found the other two reviews very helpful. They were right! I called on Wednesday and the girl who answered the phone semed completely unconcerned, and said they could be there Friday. When I requested an appointment within 24 hours, she snapped back, ""well, we don't have any - unless you want to pay an overtime fee. When I said, no, I didn't want to pay an overtime fee, then she said that the next appointment would be next week - after originally teling me they could be out on Friday! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Poor customer service, can't follow directions.... Perfect example of a poor company that doesn't care. 6/17/2008

What a horrible experience with this company. My AC breaks down on a Sunday, I had to go through my home warranty to use this company. On Monday morning, they state they don't have any openings until the next day, which is understandable. Make an appointment for Tuesday, and they state they will call me before the repairman arrives. Get home later that day, to find out they did show up earlier and failed to call me on my cell phone as instructed to do so. They offer excuses, and refuse to send a technician even though I have a small child in the house. Go elsewhere if you want to actually have some customer service and people willing to do their jobs correctly. They don't seem to care at all. Unfortunately I still will have to wait and see if they show up tomorrow. I did file a complaint against this company with my home warranty company and urged them to drop them off their vendor list. more
