23rd Floor

Went to a reception here and it was very dirty and the food/sandwiches were dried out. Overall the food was not very good. Everything looked pretty cheap considering the fact that you pay a lot to have a reception here. Have seen better! more

I had my wedding at the 23rd Floor of the Wells Fargo building last fall.\r \r The view is truly amazing. We rented out the ""Wasatch Room"" for the evening. The facility is beautiful, but for the $10,000(+/-) I spent was outrageous for the service I received.\r \r My planner ""Megan"" was as nice as the day was long. She was helpful, cheerful and polite.\r \r The problem here is the prices and all of the ""rules"" this facility has. You can't have your own caterer, you must use their. Their caterer has a cheap print off menu with overpriced options. There is no option to taste the food, or look at photos of their catering. It was just a bundle of white paper with black text. \r \r The absolute worst thing about my wedding at this facility was that the AC went out. It was beyond hot in the place. Imagine a bridesmaid trying to get friends to bring fans to the reception site all while the whole wedding party is sweating. Yeah, I'll never forget putting on my makeup while wiping sweat away from my forehead every thirty seconds.\r \r The AC was out for the whole evening. My ceremony resembled an overdressed sauna party. Plenty of our guests apologized as they left the reception site early, complaining that it was ""just too hot""\r \r The best part... no refund or compensation for the AC being out. I had my reception at the 23rd floor in January 2007. I was in good spirits until I talked to the caterer and I told her I only wanted desserts served at my reception, after that her whole attitute changed and she was extremely rude. At the reception my husband over heard her say the reception would be better if we didn't just get desserts. \r Now it is 7 months after and I got a phone call the other day saying they forgot to refund my security deposit of $500. So I gave them my card number to credit the money. I woke up the next day to them taking out $2700.00 saying I verified them to take it out and that my reception was never paid for. I instantly found my bank statements from January stating very clear that everything had been paid for. I called them to put the money back into my account within a few hours, which of course they didn't. They can take it out instantly but cant credit it back for 3 days. So, they pretty much screwed me over. The entire experience was horrible, even 7 months later I'm still regretting that I had my wedding reception there. I would NEVER in a million years recommend this place to even my worst enemy!!! Pros: NO PROS Cons: EVERYTHING more
