I've gone to Public House a dozen times now. It's a nice place, but feels a little like a mall bar. Everything's too bright and clean. The light level light might be the problem. I don't want to have to drink EVEN MORE to make the girls in the place look good. Dim the damned light so I can be properly fooled with only a buzz. Not that the customers are ugly mind you. It's just the principle of the thing. This is a good place you're into micro-foreign-brew-type beers. They have a giant selection both on tap and in the bottle. Strange that they don't have a taster size available so you can try them all with refinancing your house. I've only ordered the ""snack"" type foods, but they are all good. This place is hit or miss lately. One night its a great crowd of cool locals and the next it's invaded by roving packs of ""bros"" looking to ""get their drink on"" or some other cliche they read in Maxim magazine. The girls behind the bar are friendly if not always fast. And the beer is always cold. Well, until it sits in your hand for awhile. Then it gets warm. But that's not Public House's fault. That's just physics.
Pros: Tons of beers on tap.
Cons: Kinda sterile feeling.
