I moved on a Thursday, mid-month, so I got one of the least expensive deals - 2 men and a truck for $70/hour. Also, I booked the movers less than 24 hours in advance (note to readers: don't do this unless it's absolutely necessary, because that's just mean!) and everyone was perfectly pleasant and professional about the situation. I was quoted 6.5 hours, but due to the awesome packing and manual labor skills of myself (ha.ha.) and my boyfriend (more legitimate), they moved us in about 4 hours. One of the movers saw our cheapo furniture and said, these might break from the weight, while we move them. And both my boyfriend and I said "do what you can. It's cheap, and you're not miracle workers." NOTHING BROKE. The two men that helped us were Juan and I can't remember the other's name. Both were really chill, I couldn't be happier. The move was smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend this company. more

My real estate agents recommended them and they worked out great! They charge by the hour, but unlike some of the other local companies, only have a 2 hour minimum (and then charge in 1/4 hour increments after that), making them perfect if you only have a small move, like I did. They were great to deal with on the phone prior to the job - and very efficient on the day of. I definitely would recommend them. more

Me and the GF recently combined houses to the burbs. They moved me one day and the GF the next. They were awesome both days. They were all friendly and were respectful of our stuff. Most of all they were hard workers, super efficient, and fast. Both days they came under the estimate (prepared packing also helps). I have hired movers plenty of times before and this was the best experience I have had. I definitely would recommend them. more

I moved from Plano to Fort Mckinney last weekend and hired 1 Plano TX Movers. I hired another moving company once before and didn't have a great experience, but I was 100% satisfied this time. I chose this company based on their Judy's Book reviews. Although I had a small move, with very few large items, I moved into a complex with multiple service elevators all going to different floors. It was 102 degrees on moving day, and Ricardo and his team were so good natured and professional about the whole thing. They handled my belongings carefully, and even put my bed together for me. I will definitely use them again... and next time I'll have the elevator situation under control. Thanks guys! more

These guys were great. They moved us from one side Plano to the other a couple weeks ago. The team they sent were Joe and Jose. These guys worked hard and didn't stop until the last box was in the new house. Not one item was broken. Their rates are fair, and they bring some extra tubs and wardrobe boxes to quickly pack up stray items. I really couldn't be happier. They completed our move in about 4 hours including drive. Our apartment wasn't that big, but there were quite a few boxes and pieces of furniture. more

Can't say enough good things about Them,. If you're doing research and who to hire for a move (like I was), you've found your moving company. These guys are pros. They give you a firm estimate. They get parking permits for your street. They come a couple days early and pack everything for you - even take apart beds and pack them, including mattresses into boxes. And move everything to the truck - to your new place - to the room you want in your new place. Every step of the way, you just keep saying, "wow, these guys know what they're doing." And they were always on time and even called ahead to let me know exactly when they'd arrive. more

The move went very smoothly to our surprise and the price was the same as we were quoted initially. The movers were courteous and polite. They managed to accomplish this complicated move that involved three different locations efficiently and without any problems. I strongly recommend this company to anyone moving. more

Moving is so time consuming and hard for me and I hate packing everything myself. I do not like to use moving companies because I have heard bad things suchs as stealing or things getting damaged and ruined. My friend Greg told me that he had used 1 Plano TX Movers and that he would never use another moving company again. I decided that I would trust his judgment and I called them and spoke with a very friendly woman over the phone (Lisa). I set up a date with them and they came the exact date and even before the estimated time which is a plus for me. I was so happy I chose them Greg was right! 1 Plano TX Movers was truly professional and courteous. We had a lot to move over a long distance. We moved from Plano TX to AR and needed a long distance moving company who could handle the load for a family of 6. The moving foreman came in, evaluated the situation, created a plan, began disassembling furniture that needed taken apart, placed tags on every item leaving the house, and made sure all of my family’s belongings were protected properly. Once we finally arrived at our new home, the guys evaluated our new home and noted where we wanted everything to go. While unpacking we didn’t encounter boxes or household items placed in the wrong rooms. This made the unpacking process much easier for us. As I was unpacking, I noticed that nothing was broken. Everything was in perfect condition. I have moved before, but I must say that this is the least stressful move I have ever experienced.
