This site is forcing me to give Spavia 5/6/2012

This site is forcing me to give Spavia Day Spa at least one star but I wish I didn't have to. The first time I went to Spavia I ended up waiting an hour for a facial because one of their machines broke down. I decided to try them again, and I spent this week trying to get my appointment straightened out. This morning was the last straw. They called and cancelled again so I informed them that I would never step foot in their establishment again. more

At Spavia we strive to always provide an exceptional service. We are extremely sorry StephieS251 was not satisfied with his or her service. We have conducted some research and are unable to identify who this guest is and no one has presented us with complaints, therefore, we do not know if this is a valid complaint or a competitor trying to tarnish Erika's and Spavia's good name. If this is a legitimate complaint, Spavia would appreciate StephieS251 to contact either Vivi, the owner of Spavia, or Mary, the Esthetician Lead, so that we can assess the situation and rectify the problem. Erika is one of our most experienced and sought after estheticians and continually has excellent reviews. It is our practice at Spavia to recommend home treatments to each guest so not only they have a thorough facial service at our spa, but to aid them in keeping their skin in the best shape and maintaining proper skincare and not merely delivering a ""fluff"" facial. If your looking for a skin specialist, 1/21/2012

If your looking for a skin specialist, ask for Erika... I recently visited Spavia and had a wonderful facial! I have very sensitive skin and have had problems in past.. I could tell that she is very experienced and really cared about my skin issues.. Also, she rocks with eyebrows!!! Im happy and I will return.. Cant wait to go back! more

Run as far away as possible. I had a facial with Erika and I felt like I was there just to buy products not to relax and have a facial. It was the worst experience I have ever had that I had to pay for. She also waxed my eyebrows and now I look like a clown, one brow is up and the other is down. Believe me If I could give Erika and Spavia no star I would, they don't even deserve one star in my opinion. more

Great Day Spa for Dudes 12/10/2011

Spavia offers deep tissue and sport massages. The atmosphere is really calm and has relaxing earthy colors. You can select the music and lotion scents you like during treatment and all the staff are friendly. You can book appointments online but they're always so helpful I prefer to call. more

I have been going to Jessica for a long time for massage. I stand on my feet all day, and I am always in desperate need of some deep tissue work. She is amazing, strong, and very sweet. I would highly recommend her to anyone. You won't be disappointed! more

Fantastic Experience!! 10/13/2011

We scheduled a girls' weekend for myself and 4 family members. We all purchased a Groupon for a massage and none of us had ever been to Spavia before. Wow, what a wonderful experience!! They treated us like royalty and the front office and massage therapists were great and very friendly. The relaxation room was wonderful and the massages were the best any of us had ever had. I wondered if they would cut corners because of the Groupon, but they did not - we were never rushed and we never felt like they were scrimping. Just a fantastic experience and we have all decided we would go there again in a heartbeat. more

I hope they NEVER close! 10/4/2011

Thanks so much to Erika at Spavia!!! I can't believe how great my face looks after just a few months with her. I came in with terrible acne that I couldn't get rid of no matter how many products I tried. I came in to give their facials a try and after one there were improvements and now I am breakout free. Erika really takes her time and makes me feel like she cares about me and my skin. Yes, she recomended a few products, but only the ones she thought I needed, and the results have been outstanding. As a bonus, she teaches me something new about caring for my skin everytime I come in and taylors their facials to fit my needs. Not only does Spavia have a great atmosphere but their staff gives such great personal attention that I will keep coming back again and again. more

Spavia average facial and over priced 10/1/2011

The facial I had was by Erika. She was very concerned with selling product rather than facial time. She left the room for 5 minutes during the facial to gather the products she thought I should purchase. I have had many facials and people never leave the room- if a product needs to be applied and left on for a few minutes the person giving the facial uses that time for a scalp massage, etc. Scalp massages are common with facials and I did not receive one. The face massage (which I find most relaxing) was also in short duration. I typically go to a place that includes many of the options I spoke about and the facial is only $50 Spavia charges $75 for a less quality facial. more

Great waxing services and terrific staff! 8/16/2011

I love Erika! She gives great waxes, makes it as painless and quick as possible. She is nice, friendly and the prices are great. Have you ever heard of a spa lowering their prices to make them more competitive!?! Awesome place - definitely recommended. more

Best brazilian wax I've ever had. 7/5/2011

Erika at Spavia in Westminster is amazing. She was quick and made my experience as painless as a brazilian wax could possibly be. It wasn't nearly as awkward as some other waxes I've had. My brows look great too. I highly recommend going to see Erika if you're considering a brazilian or need your brows shaped. more

I love this place!!! Excellent Service - from the front desk personnel to the therapists and estheticians. i always have to rush to my appointments but the second I walk in, I start to relax! I am a frequent guest for massage and facials. I received samples after my facial and my skin truly improved. Love it! more

Treat yourself with excellent care! 6/11/2011

My first visit to Spavia was a promotion soon after I moved to the area. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the spa, the services offered and the caring staff, who made every effort to make my massage/facial special. Since that first visit, when I became a member, I have not experienced any change in their excellent service. Each time they continue to make me feel special, from the time I?m greeted to the estheticians who have personalized my facials, I do not feel I would receive better care anywhere. more

Relaxing hour getaway 6/2/2011

From the first time I went to Spavia I was hooked. I have referred friends and family since and they are all members as well. They have a special touch there and you feel it from the second you walk in the door. The girls up front are warm and welcoming and the rest of the staff makes you feel like their most important client. Their customer service is exceptional.I look forward to my hour get away every month. more

Love this Spa!!!! 5/18/2011

I received a massage and facial for Mother's Day. Both were excellent!!! It is very convenient and affordable. I signed up for the signature membership at only 49.00 month. Now I can treat a friend or myself to another treatment for only $39!!! The staff treated me very well. They give you a heated neck wrap while waiting for your massage. Erica gave me a facial and she was very knowledgable. She gave me samples to try that have really improved my skin!! Love this place!!! more

Day Spa Good for Men 4/13/2011

Spavia offers lots of treatments for men. The colors are natural (not girly). I didn't expect the retreat area - relaxing low light, hot tea and mints. It's great after a hectic week at work or when I return from a business trip - plane trips get to my back. Massage really takes the edge off, or so my wife tells me! more

I love the massages and my monthly membership is great. Not only is my massage just $49 but my husband is my ?bring-a-friend? every month for just $39. Plus for special occasions I can get my sister or a friend a $65 value gift card for just $49! Makes me look good (great gift value) and makes them feel good! more

Excellent Customer Service 2/18/2011

When I showed up for my facial, they told me that the aesthician (sp?) was sick so they'd see what they could do. My heart sank like a stone. But Debbie worked magic -- she offered me a heated hand wrap, brunch from a local restaurant brought to me in the spa, a massage instead of the facial, and an upgrade on my next visit! Wow! The massage was great; brunch was nice, and she really went out of her way to make my experience great. I'll definitely go back. more

Pampering Close to Home recommended 1/16/2011

I went to spavia after a long, stressful week of our office relocating ? the hot tea, neck wrap, music and Mei?s massage melted all that away. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxed. I?ve only had two massages before (on vacations) but I decided to try spavia because of the ad I received in the mail. Now I go on a regular basis and look forward to my quiet time - I never feel rushed in or out of my appointments. more
