Don't believe all the 5 stars, they are fake. I had one question about the apartment, does the landlord provide proper heat? He and his realty guy swore they knew the owner and i...

A real upstanding guy! 8/5/2008

I found an apartment on craigslist and was put in touch with Jeff. From our first conversation, he was nothing but calm and friendly- VERY unlike most brokers in this city. He didn't try to ""sell"" me, but gave it to me straight. In setting up a time to see the place, he was extremely flexible to my schedule and was even friendly and cheerful when I was a bit late! We saw the apartment- and instead of blabbing to me the whole time about how great the neighborhood is or how amazing the space is for the price, he just let me wander around and take the time to do my thing. I decided to put an application on it and Jeff came to my office the next day to pick up the paperwork- I didn't have to go out of my way at all. A few days later, I found something I liked better- I should mention after Jeff had worked to get me approved. I called Jeff to tell him I no longer wanted to take the place and he was totally understanding and put no pressure on me whatsoever to take the place anyway. He wished me all the best with the other apartment and told me he would be happy to personally come to my office to drop off the $200 deposit I gave him. He followed up with me the very next day to schedule a time that he could come drop the money off with me! Pros: Jeff Nach is a good guy Cons: Reviews on citysearch made me nervous to work with this company more

BEWARE 6/27/2008

Jeff Nach is such a good liar. . There is no doubt he is writing the positive reviews about himself. There is something horribly wrong with every apartment he represents. Renting from him will cost you thousands of dollars in moving expenses, lost broker fees and lost security. Don't try to finger out what is wrong with the apartment, just stay away. Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY Pros: He'll work hard to get you into awful apartment Cons: They are con men more

Jeff Nach - probably the best broker I've ever dealt with 5/3/2008

I would absolutely look to work with this guy again. He was very straight forward and kept my interests in mind, always easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. I met a former client of his who also seemed to be equally saitisfied. I don't know about the rest of Steven Apuzzi LLC, I've only dealt with Jeff. He's the one to go to. I rarely ever write reviews, but he deserves the recognition. Pros: honest, not pushy, straight forward more

Agent Jeff Nach 3/28/2008

My experience with Steven Apuzzi LLC could not have been more pleasant. Throughout a long and exhausting apartment search I was finally connected with Jeff Nach, an agent who would bend over backwards to accommodate his clients. My roommate and I are very pleased with our experience in working with Jeff and would encourage fellow apartment hunters to seek out his services. Jeff is in it for the long haul and does not rest until his clients are served properly. Thanks for everything. Pros: Service & Timeliness Cons: NA more

THESE BROKERS SHOULD HAVE THEIR LICENSE REVOKED 3/26/2008

From the start these people were rude, pushy and uncommunicative when you want to reach them. My boyfriend and I found an apartment through them and they quickly took our money and signed a lease with us. having rented out our apartment, bought furniture and arranged movers we were told 2 days before we were supposed to move that the management did not approve us. Having paid out thousands of dollars, we have no apartment and despite many calls have not received a response from Steven Appuzzi about getting our money back. Cons: liars, cheats, charlatans, theives, rude, unprofessional, cowboys more

Worst Agency Ever 3/10/2008

Agent did not return call in promised time, bait and switch. Rude agents. Avoid at all costs. I wouldn't do business with any of these crackerjacks EVEN if I had a gun to my neck. Pros: Not one pro Cons: They were morons more

Jeff Natch of Steven Apuzzi is Fantastic to work with 3/3/2008

My roommate and I found our apartment on Craig's list which was listed under Steven Apuzzi. Working with our broker, Jeff Natch was a real pleasure and an effortless experience. He was very knowledgeable, listened to what we wanted and what we were looking for, was very easy going and easy to get in touch with and INCREDIBLY HONEST. His help and services were most appreciated and my roommate and I are thrilled in our newly renovated apartment. Jeff made the entire stress of moving and all of the issues associated with it an effortless and very positive experience. He answered any and all questions we had and was really fantastic to work with. Pros: honesty more

Glad I didn't read these before getting my apartment... 2/22/2008

I worked with Jeff Nach at Apuzzi Realty and he was great. No problems, quick phone calls, courteous service. Jeff was also really helpful with questions, super friendly, fast with my application and even brought the contracts & lease to me to sign. Couldn't have asked for more. Pros: Great service, friendly and down to earth. Cons: No flexibility on broker's fee, even when listing was found on craigslist. more

Stay Away!!! This Agency is EXTREMELY Rude and Condescending 1/5/2008

In reading the posted comments about Apuzzi, maybe Jeff Natch is a professional but my experience with Apuzzi was a nightmare. When you call the office (if they pick-up) you will be greeted by a woman who sounds like a debt collector and seriously lacks enthusiasm. In her monotone voice, she will ask who you are calling for and then put you on hold only to tell you that they are out of the office...really this person is ducking you. Cons: Customer Service, Professionalism, Knowledge, Follow-up Skills, Blame Game more

Terrifc experience with doing business. 1/3/2008

I?d like to add my comments as to this thread. Often times we hear the negative and seldom the positives. In the weeks leading to the Christmas holidays I had been actively looking for an apartment. I called listings in newspapers, websites; I walked building to building in neighborhoods that were of interest ? to no avail. When the prospects of finding an apartment before the New Year seemed dismal, I made one final call. Pros: Excellent ""bedside"" manner Cons: N/A more

Best realtor I have encountered 11/2/2007

Before I contacted Jeff Nach from Apuzzi Realty, I had horrible experiences with other realtors. Jeff Nach is personable and reliable. He was on time for all of our meetings and answered all of my questions honestly. Whenever I had a concern, he was always available. He went through great lenghts to make my fiance and I feel comfortable. Once we found our dream apartment, he made sure that all of the necessary steps were completed; the process was stress free. I highly recommend him. Pros: Honest and reliable more

Is Zero Stars and Option? 9/25/2007

Take my advice and AVOID APUZZI AT ALL COSTS. All the other negative reviews on this website are true. My roommate and I hade a TERRIBLE experience. We found a place in the East Village. Max was our agent (works for Apuzzi) and he is a nice guy. We put down a $300 deposit, and Max told us that he would take the place off the market, and we would sign a lease in a couple of days and move in a couple of days after that. We waited. 2 weeks. Nothing and nothing, and they NEVER returned phone calls - not once did I get Apuzzi on the phone. And then he would have different people call me and make excuses for why I couldn't reach him and why I hadn't sign the lease yet. Finally after 2 weeks, someone calls us and tells us that the apartment was rented to somebody else. After it was supposedly taken off the market. So we lost 2 weeks and were stressed out the whole time. Cons: Lies, wasted our time, stole our money more

Avoid -- Steven Apuzzi is bad news. 7/5/2007

He openly lied to me and defrauded me. You would have to be out of your mind to trust this POS -- deal with him at your own risk. Cons: Lies all the time. more

Professional Broker 3/14/2007

I just got my apartment through a broker at Apuzzi Realty and couldn't be happier. I had to move into the apartment no later than Friday and I turned in my application Monday afternoon. The broker did whatever was necessary to get me in and I had the keys on Wednesday. After having dealt with a large number of brokers, some from big name prestigious firms it was a pleasure to meet someone who came on time to appointments, was knowledgeable about the rental market, had accurate information on the building I was interested in, and was willing to admit mistakes when he made them. In short a true professional. I cannot recommend him highly enough. more

PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, PROMPT AND REALIABLE 3/12/2007

Max helped my friend find a GREAT apartment in Flatbush. He was very professional and the price couldn't be beat. I'd definitely recommend him the future. more

Worst Brokers in Manhattan 3/5/2007

How could something so promising go so terribly wrong? Apuzzi was by far the worst broker experience I've had in Manhattan. After telling us we'd need a guarentor, he called my father, the guarentor, at 7 AM on a friday , FOUR TIMES, to get his social security number, rather than wait till a reasonable hour. Further he misled myself and my roomate about how the guarentor situation worked. Cons: they are terrible people more

WORST REALTY COMPANY 9/4/2006

I wish I had read these reviews before signing on because so far Apuzzi realty has been an AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I have left them a total of 6 messages and HE NEVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. more

Do they even really exist? 7/21/2006

Apuzzi Realty has consistently ignored phone calls regarding their apartments. I have called numerous times about an apartment I was interested in and not only do they NEVER pick up the phone but they don't respond to messages left either. I called management, they finally picked up and promised they'd call me back with more information about the apartment and what a shocker, never heard from them again. Terrible communication, no customer service whatsoever, highly UNRECOMMENDED. To be honest, I'm not sure if these people even give a hoot if they rent anything ever. Pros: might have nice apartment Cons: you'll never see them. more

STAY AWAY - THE WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE!!! 5/25/2006

My boyfriend and I were pleased when we started working with Apuzzi because they seemed very laid back and had a relatively low fee, however working with this agent ended up the worst decision possible and made our move extremely stressful. Steven Apuzzi was not in communication with us after we signed our lease and received our money. Then, they delayed our move by two weeks and when we tried to get in touch with them, we were lied to and consistently ignored. Finally, we just worked with the management co. (who were great). At one point, we were told that Apuzzi Realty ""did not have time for us"" and that ""it was out of their hands."" The few times we spoke to anyone, we were spoken to rudely and in a very unprofessional manner. We were lied to and I strongly reccommend everyone to STAY CLEAR of APUZZI REALTY!!!! Cons: DISHONEST, SLEAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL more
