Review content:
The Mesquite Rodeo at Resistol Arena is a fun event for families or rodeo fans. It costs $10 for adults (general admission). They have all the typical rodeo events: bull riding, calf roping, barrell racing, brono riding, etc... They also have a couple of fun events I had never seen. They have an event called 'Mutton Bustin' where children (55lbs and under) get to ride on a sheep and see how long they can hold on. Any kid can do this and it is quite cute to watch. They also have an event where kids 8 years old and under can come into the arena and chase two calves trying to get a ribbon off their tail. The winner gets a prize. Again very fun to watch. Overall, it is a great activity for families or anyone who is up for some fun.
