This was a phenomenal experience, the whole way through. Great guys, professional, friendly, and fast as heck.
Pre-Move
In soliciting bids for my move, Top Fairfax Movers was the only company who routinely answered my phonecall - I always got a live person, who was very courteous, whereas the other companies I was getting bids from rarely if ever picked up on the first call, and we engaged in constant email volleys. While I understand these are small companies and are constantly on the road, I got increasingly anxious as the date approached and I had barely any contact to speak of, so having someone who I knew would be there put me at ease.
Moving Day
They showed up not with 3 guys, as we had agreed, but with 4, and only charged me an extra 20 bucks for the job. Sweet! The guys moved my entire apartment into a large truck in less than an hour, we met at my new place and they unpacked in less than an hour. With standard travel time included the whole move was just about where I had expected price wise, and it was smooth as glass.
