Review content:
I wrote essentially the same review on Yelp. Just a warning to make sure you are proactive and know what color you are going to get before greenlighting it. Learn from my mistake: I went in for a cut and color, and told Mike I was unhappy with the highlights I had received from another salon--too light, almost blond--and wanted to go back to my natural hair color, which before I was gray was medium dark brown. He seemed to understand and said he had just the thing--but what I got instead was jet black! Very fake goth black. I thought it would look better at home but under natural light it just seemed worse. When I called the salon and told them it was not what I wanted and asked if they could do anything to lighten it, Mike's only response was to give it a few shampoos and it would lighten on its own. Going on 20 shampoos later it is still basically jet black. The cut he gave me was pretty good so if all you want is a cut, he is fine; but for color I recommend you go someplace else.
