My husband and I recently used Liberty United to do our move to Virginia. Although we were familiar with United Van Lines, we were pretty skeptical about moving companies in general because of all the negative stories you hear about them ripping people off. I have to say that our experience with Liberty came as a pleasant surprise.
Our estimator, Steve, took his time to carefully inventory all items in our apartment and then printed out a detailed proposal that showed us how we would be charged. He gave us great advice on how to pack our belongings and how Liberty would handle the packing and transportation of my husband's prized large screen plasma TV. Steve was always available by cell phone to answer our questions, which we had a lot of.
In the end, our move to our new home in Virginia went very smooth. More impressive, our actual charges came in slightly under what Steve had estimated. That was a surprise. I would definitley recommend Liberty United for anyone considering an "out of state" move.
Pros: Accurate Estimating, Excellent Service and Great Crew
Cons: Crew left some empty boxes at my new home
