I went to their Valentine's Dance this weekend. I thought it would be a little lame. But I felt like I was flashing back to my grandparents time and how they enjoyed a Saturday night. The music was good, I'd like to go back for another party when there is a more modern dancing band. I heard from others that the old guy singing was a legend, but a little past his prime for sure. But there was something super charming about it and his efforts to sing for a crowd clearly 30-50 years younger than him. I think I am going to take dance lessons now with my boyfriend who took me there , instead of the other places I have tried, because the people dancing were just so good it was motivating.
