Shen Clinic/Shen Herb is an alternative medicine shop and has licensed acupuncture practitioners and massage therapists on hand at all times.
You can pick up many different kinds of Chinese herbal remedies, as well as get a specially blended therapeutic tea for yourself.
Their resident acupunturist, Joel Harvey LaC, is a very experienced herbalist and acupuncture specialist. I've gone to him several times over the years and his techniques really work.
Shen Clinic also produces Chinese remedies in ready made pill form that are easy to take. I recommend their Sinus and Nose Pills for people like me with sinus problems and allergies. Their Stomach pills are also very good.
Stop by their storefront on the corner of Rose and Shattuck in Berkeley, you won't be sorry!
