Review content:
Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a Paradise and a favorite of Bird Photographers. A three-quarter mile elevated board walk winds many ponds . Frequently seen are Moorhens, Blackbirds Herons, Hawks, sometimes an occasional eagle. Hummingbirds and Alligators are visible.
Dusk is a great time to visit for birds returning to the wetlands for the night. The wetlands are open from dawn to dusk all year.
The wetlands are maintained by The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department. There is NO admission charge. Since, I live nearby, I go everyday for my morning constitutional walk. In the summer go early to avoid the heat. Wear a hat and strong sun glasses
