My old water heater started leaking so unfortunately I needed to buy a new one. Money is real tight right now and I wasn't prepared to have this expense. So, I called around to see who could give me the best deal on installing a 50 gallon electric tank. After calling about 10 or 12 places, I decided to go with Joe's because Joe's had the lowest price. In fact, they beat the next lowest price by over $100. Most places were in the $800's and Joe's was in the low $600's. I don't usually like to go with the lowest price on things like this but like I said, money is really tight right now and so I decided to take the chance. So, I called and the guy came out within an hour, took measurements and then went to get the new water heater. He was back in about 30-40 minutes and got right to work. About two hours later he was finished and the new tank was in. The installation looked professional and even included straps to keep the tank in place during an earthquake. I guess this is required by the building codes now. He showed me how to adjust the temperature and explained the warranty (first year includes parts and labor and the next five years is parts only). He had even cleaned up the pool of water on the floor from the old tank and also took the old tank with him. The price was exactly what I was quoted. No surprises. With tax, the total came to $680. The tank they installed is a Bradford White, which I never heard of. The old tank was a Rheem. I did some research online about Bradford White and was surprised to find out that they are one of the best quality water heaters you can buy. That just made this deal all that much better!!! I've had it for a few days now and it works perfectly. All in all I was really impressed with the service and the price and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Well done Joe's!
