Review content:
I have eaten at The Deck 3 times but have been there 4. The last time, no one, not a single person, came to our table to take our order or to welcome us to the place. The first 3 times, the food was great but the service was very laid back. It was almost like we were bothering our waitress while she watch tv and talked with her co-workers. But when we did get to eat, the food was really good, it was so good that we took our dinner club there. Everyone enjoyed themselves. It is just a shame that one bad event can ruin what was a fun place to eat. Honestly, doesn't the mangagement and wait staff know that SERVICE is just as IMPORTANT as good food? And it would not have been as bad an experience had it been crowded but there were only 3 tables, counting ours, and the other tables had paid their tab cause one got up to leave and I saw the waitress take the tab from the other table. There were more "workers" than customers at that moment. Even the manager walked by us but not one word was spoken to us. I just don't get the mentality of some people. If you are hired to wait on tables, then wait on tables. Well I guess if you don't care enough about your customers, you will lose them and then your business will follow.
Oh, when we left, we mentioned why we were leaving to the manager and he did not seem to care or offer an apology.
