We went on A Fri night. The pianist was superb. Very non traditional too. The funny thing is when we asked him if he played jazz, he said he played "non-Jazz". Whatever that was it was a great change of pace. He was playing all sorts of stuff. TV themes (MASH), R and B (TLC), Heavy Metal ballads (Guns N Roses), and other piano pop (Clapton, Elton John, Billy Joel, Hornsby). He wasn't kidding. There was no jazz. At about 10 they stopped him and brought a DJ, and no one seemed to happy about it. Not even the DJ.
Pros: live music, people watching, style
